Inspiration-This man started feeding needy cancer patients and their relatives .
This inspirational man named, Harakhchand Sawla used to stand on the footpath opposite Tata Cancer Hospital, Mumbai .
How many times does a person’s sorrow and hopelessness inspire you to do something great so that not just the person but many other could benefit from it? Not often times? We all look at people’s sadness and sorrows differently. But thank god, this man in his thirties did not stop from what he decided to do 27 years ago.Harakhchand Sawla used to stand on the footpath opposite Tata Cancer Hospital, Mumbai and used to think about what could be done for the fearful people who had nowhere to go and no money to buy food or pay for the medicines.He rented out hotel to raise money and started a charitable trust right opposite the hospital on the pavement next to Kondaji Building. He would distribute food to the needy people in the hospital. From 50 the number of people rose to 200 and then 700. Food was provided to all the people in all the seasons and in all sorts of circumstances, even Mumbai rains could not stop him.
The saviour of the needy did not stop here. He opened a medicine bank to provide three medicines, had three voluntary doctors and pharmacists along with him and an opened a toy bank too for the kids in the hospital.The ‘Jeevan Jyot’ trust founded by Mr. Sawla has more than 60 humanitarian projects running, currently. Mr. Harakhchand Sawla is now 57 years old and works with the same vigour. His trust feeds free lunch to 10 to 12 lac cancer patients and their relatives.
People seek god in cricketers and in famous temples. What we don’t know is god is often found at the most unexpected place and under unexpected circumstances. Can India be a more intelligent country to decide who needs to be made famous and popular for the great deeds that one does and not label a fake self-proclaimed god as god?

Ministry may revamp IMC to curb content violation by TV channels
The Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry may look at reconfiguration of the the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) that looks into complaints of content violations by TV channels in the light of the NDTV controversy.This is likely to be done to make the institutional process that looks into content violation of private television channels more robust.
Ready for talks
The government could hold discussions with the telecast industry for suggestions to strengthen the process, sources said.I&B Minister Venkaiah Naidu had said at a press conference on Monday that if there was scope for improving the mechanism, the government would look into it.The ministry had constituted the committee in 2005 to look into complaints of violations of the programming and advertising codes laid down in the Cable TV Network Rules.It consists of representatives from I&B Ministry, Home Affairs Ministry, Law and Justice Ministry, Defence Ministry, Women and Child Development Ministry, Consumer Affairs and Food Processing Ministry and Advertising Standards Council for India.
The inter-ministerial committee sends warnings, advisories as well as imposes penalties on erring channels. The government has pointed out that even during 2005-14, under the UPA regime, TV channels were asked to go off air in 21 instances.
Rules amended
Sources have been pointing out that the I&B Ministry had been sending several advisories with regard to coverage of terrorist attacks since 2008.
However, amendments were brought into the regulations and the programming code last year for coverage of terrorist attacks since a rule was more binding than an advisory.

Inspiration-पैरालिसिस को हराकर गाँवों के गरीब बच्चों की जिंदगी रोशन कर रहे अनुराग
“कुछ परेशानियों से जिन्दगी कभी खत्म नहीं होती” अपने बिछड़े दोस्त के इन शब्दों ने अनुराग की जिंदगी बदल दी। औरैया जिला मुख्यालय से 35 किलोमीटर दूर सहार ब्लाक के देवीदास गाँव में रहने वाले अनुराग सिंह (23 वर्ष) का बचपन बहुत ही मुश्किलों भरा रहा, लेकिन अनुराग ने इन मुश्किलों को अपनी जिंदगी में रूकावट नहीं बनने दिया। जन्म के छह महीने बाद अनुराग को पैरालिसिस हो गया था। ये मुश्किलें अनुराग के लिए क्षणिक थी। अपनी बीमारी से लड़कर एलएलबी करने के बाद आज ये अपने दोस्तों के सहयोग से सैकड़ों बच्चों को मुफ्त में पठन सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने के साथ ही योग्य शिक्षकों द्वारा उन्हें नि:शुल्क शिक्षा भी दे रहे हैं।
अनुराग अपने बारे में बताते हैं कि पांच भाई और दो बहनों में मैं सबसे छोटा हूँ। जन्म के छह महीने बाद ही मुझे पैरालिसिस हो गया था। निरंतर इलाज चला और मै डेढ़ साल की उम्र में ठीक हो गया था। अनुराग आगे बताते हैं कि इलाज के बाद पैरालिसिस तो ठीक हो गया था, लेकिन तीन साल की उम्र से ही मुझे दौरे पड़ने शुरू हो गये। इलाज चलने के साथ ही मेरी पढाई कभी बंद नहीं हुई। वर्ष 2006 में दसवीं परीक्षा पास करने के बाद मानसिक संतुलन पूरी तरह से गड़बड़ा गया।
गल्योसिस बीमारी से पीड़ित आईसीयू में एक महीने तक एडमिट रहने के बाद अनुराग के घर वालों को ये पता चला कि गल्योसिस नामक बीमारी है। पूरे पांच साल इस बीमारी की पीड़ा से लड़ने के बाद अनुराग जिन्दगी से हार मानने लगे थे। परिवार और दोस्तों के प्रोत्साहन से पढ़ाई लगातार जारी रही। 15 वर्ष की उम्र में ही कम्प्यूटर टीचर के तौर पर अपने करियर की शुरुआत की। इस करियर में ढाई हजार रुपये मिलने शुरू हुए और अनुराग की पढ़ाई जारी रही। सबकुछ ठीक चलना शुरू ही हुआ था कि एक बार फिर अनुराग पारिवारिक विवाद में 17 वर्ष की उम्र में सलाखों के पीछे पहुंच गये। नाबालिग होने की वजह से अनुराग दो दिन में छूट तो गये था, मगर उन्हें अपना करियर खत्म होते नजर आ रहा था और वो पूरी तरह से अवसाद ग्रस्त हो गये थे।
अनुराग के इन मुश्किल क्षणों में सबसे जिगरी दोस्त सुमित गुप्ता ने उबारने की बहुत कोशिश की। अनुराग की आँखें ये बताते हुए भर जाती हैं कि वर्ष 2014 में एक सड़क हादसे में मेरा दोस्त नहीं रहा मगर उसके कहे शब्द “कुछ परेशानियों से जिन्दगी कभी खत्म नहीं होती” इस वाक्य ने मुझे हिम्मत दी और मैंने “आओ मिलकर करें मदद” नाम की एक संस्था खोली।आओ मिलकर करें मदद” इस संस्था का उद्देश्य गरीब बच्चों को मुफ्त में शिक्षा देना, महिलाएं अपने अधिकार जाने, बेटी बचाओ जैसे तमाम मुद्दे पर कार्य करना है। अनुराग बताते हैं कि हमारे चार मित्र रोहित वर्मा, नीतेश प्रताप सिंह, आर्यन कुशवाहा और यश पूरी तरह से हमारी इस मुहिम में शामिल हैं। मैं और मेरे सभी मित्र प्राइवेट जॉब करते हैं और उससे जो पैसा कमाते हैं, उससे इस संस्था को चलाया जा रहा है।
अनुराग खुश होकर बताते हैं कि हमारे सभी साथी हमें बहुत सहयोग कर रहें है। ये पैसे के लिए काम नहीं कर रहे, बल्कि समाज के लिए काम कर रहे हैं। अनुराग को पत्रकारिता का बहुत शौक है। वो बहुत सारी कविताएँ और लेख भी लिखते हैं। अनुराग कहते हैं कि आज मैं अपने काम से बहुत खुश हूँ। कोशिश है कि औरैया जिले में बहुत सारा काम करूं। अभी शुरुआत है और ये कारवां बहुत आगे ले जाना है।

जन्मदिन विशेष : रेडियो पर गाया करती थीं माला सिन्हा
खूबसूरत और बड़े-बड़े कजरारे नैनों वाली बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री माला सिन्हा की अभिनय प्रतिभा ने हर किसी को अपना दीवाना बना लिया। 78 वर्ष की होने के बावजूद उनके चेहरे पर आज भी वही चमक बरकरार है। माला सिन्हा ऑल इंडिया रेडियो यानी आकाशवाणी की अनुमोदित गायिका रह चुकी हैं।
जब वह महज सोलह साल की थीं, तो उन्हीं दिनों आकाशवाणी के कलकत्ता (अब कोलकाता) केंद्र के स्टूडियो में लोकगीत गाया करती थीं। उन्होंने भले ही फिल्मों के लिए गीत न गाए हों, लेकिन 1947 से 1975 तक कई भाषाओं में मंच पर गायन किया। उनका जन्म 11 नवंबर, 1936 को कलकत्ता के एक ईसाई परिवार में हुआ। उनके माता-पिता मूल रूप से नेपाल के रहने वाले थे। माला के जन्म से पहले ही वे कलकत्ता आकर बस गए। बचपन में माला का आलडा रख गया था, लेकिन उनकी सहेलियां व दोस्त उन्हें डालडा (वनस्पति तेल का एक ब्रांड) कहकर चिढ़ाते थे। बेटी को परेशान देख माता-पिता ने नाम बदलकर माला रख दिया। माला सिन्हा को बचपन से ही गीत और नृत्य में बड़ी दिलचस्पी थी। उन्होंने हिंदी के अलावा बांग्ला और नेपाली फिल्मों में भी काम किया है। वह अपनी प्रतिभा और सौंदर्य के लिए जानी जाती हैं। उन्होंने वर्ष 1950 से लेकर 1960 के दशक तक सौ से अधिक हिंदी फिल्मों में अपने अभिनय के जलवे बिखेरे। माला सिन्हा ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत एक बांग्ला फिल्म 'जय वैष्णो देवी'में एक बाल कलाकार के रूप में की। इसके बाद वह एक के बाद एक कई फिल्मों में अपनी अदाओं से दर्शकों को मोहती रहीं और नए कीर्तिमान स्थापित किए।
माला सिन्हा का विवाह मुंबई में 1968 में चिदंबर प्रसाद लोहनी से हुआ। इसके बाद दोनों ने नेपाली फिल्म 'माइती घर'में साथ में काम किया। इस दंपति की एक बेटी है- प्रतिभा सिन्हा। प्रतिभा को भी कई फिल्में मिलीं, मगर मां जितनी शोहरत नहीं मिल सकी। माला सिन्हा की यादगार फिल्में हैं 'प्यासा', 'धूल का फूल', 'दिल तेरा दीवाना', 'गुमराह'और 'हिमालय की गोद में'। इसके अलावा 'पैसा ही पैसा', 'एक शोला', 'नया जमाना', 'फैशन', 'प्यासा', 'फिर सुबह होगी', 'परवरिश', 'मैं नशे में हूं', 'लव मैरिज', 'माया', 'सुहाग सिन्दूर', 'धर्मपुत्र', 'हरियाली और रास्ता', 'दिल तेरा दीवाना', ,'सुहागन', 'जहां आरा', 'पूजा के फूल', 'अपने हुए पराये', 'बहू बेटी'व 'नई रोशनी'जैसी फिल्मों में भी उन्होंने अपने अभिनय की छाप छोड़ी। माला बड़ी अभिनेत्री बनीं, लेकिन किसी को उनमें जरा भी घमंड नहीं दिखा। वह अपने संस्कार नहीं भूलीं। वह अपने पिता की आज्ञाकारी बेटी रही हैं। मां उन्हें घरेलू लड़की ही मानती थीं। वह घरेलू कामों में निपुण हैं। आज भी वह सादगी भरा जीवन व्यतीत करती हैं। सन् 1950 से 1960 के दशक की इस अभिनेत्री से कोई मिले तो बातचीत में वह आज भी उसे वही ताजगी का अहसास कराती हैं और मन मोह लेती हैं। आज की नई अभिनेत्रियां उनसे काफी कुछ सीखकर अभिनय के क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ सकती हैं।

Radio Kashmir Jammu starts Morning Gojri News Bulletin
The regional news Unit of Radio Kashmir Jammu on 10 November 2016 started morning news bulletin in Gojri language. The five minutes Gojri news bulletin will be aired at 10:15am daily from the transmitters of Radio Kashmir Jammu.Gojri is one of the most widely spoken languages of the state and over 20 percent chunk of the population in the state consists of Gojri speaking people.The radio news bulletin was formally launched and inaugurated at Abhinav Theater, Jammu by Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh. After inaugurating the bulletin, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the bulletin will help in a big way in disseminating important information to people of the State in general and Gujjar Bakerwal community including nomadic tribes in particular.Gojri.• Gojri also known as Gujari is a variety of Indo-Aryan spoken language. It is also known as Gujjar Bhakha, Gojari or Gujar Apabhramsha.• It is mainly spoken by the Gujjars of India and Pakistan.
• The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has recognized Gojri by including it into sixth scheduled of the constitution.• The language was used as literature language as early as 12th century.• Poet Bhoja in 1014 AD referred to Gaurjar Apabhramsha (Gurjar Apabhramsha).• In India the language is mainly spoken in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Murree, Nathiagalli, and few other places.NOTE: Jammu and Kashmir is the only Indian state to have its own Constitution. It was adopted on 17 November 1956 and came into force on 26 January 1957.

ALL INDIA RADIO IS KNOWN FOR ITS CREDIBILTY OF NEWS, SAYS LALSAWTA
In Mizoram, Finance Minister Lalsawta said that "All India Radio is known for its authenticity and credibility of news". The Finance Minister was speaking as Chief Guest at the releasing ceremony of the Golden Jubilee Souvenir of AIR Aizawl today.Addressing the gathering, the Finance Minister said that since AIR is being known for its credibility and authenticity of news, he urged the staff of AIR to keep on the good work so as to uphold the dignity of the public service broadcaster. Lalsawta, himself a regular listener of AIR News further said that the news broadcast by AIR is considered as a "gospel" truth by the people.The Finance Minister also distributed "Cerficate of Appreciation" to AIR Talkers who have delivered more than 100 Radio Talks in AIR Aizawl during the last 50 years.The releasing function of the Golden Jubilee Souvenir held today was attended by the staff, invitees and pensioners of AIR Aizawl. In his speech, D R Lalropuia, Director (E) & Head of Office said that All India Radio, Aizawl started functioning on 31st July, 1966. He narrated the contributions and achievements of AIR Aizawl for the past fifty years for the people of Mizoram. The Director informed that the functioning of AIR Aizawl would be completely digitalized soon for which necessary steps have been taken up in right earnest. At a time when different forms of media are coming up, D R Lalropuia said that Radio is gaining more popularity with the monthly "Mann Ki Baat" program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The main celebration of the Golden Jubilee of All India Radio, Aizawl was held on July 30, 2016 at Vanapa Hall in Aizawl with Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla as Chief Guest.

Inspiration-Parking Trouble? Sit Back, Relax and Let ‘Get My Parking’ Find You a Spot
Get My Parking is a one-year-old startup founded by IIT Madras alumnus, Chirag Jain, and FMS Delhi graduate, Rasik Pansare.
We have all seen, it cars circling an area slowly and stealthily like hawks closing in on their prey, with drivers training their eyes on the side of the road lest they miss any smidgen of available space to park their cars.Parking is quite a task in metro cities but a new app might just be the answer to the parking woes of city residents.This Delhi-based company is trying to provide a smart solution to parking problems. The founders have developed an app that helps people find parking spaces even before they reach their destination. The company garnered appreciation for its work in Ujjain during the Kumbh Mela and received praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.The highly useful Android application enables a driver to not just locate a parking space on the map, but also to reserve it in advance. The driver can also pay for the parking ticket using online payment or m-wallet. The application also provides navigation to the drivers to arrive at the nearest parking lot.
According to the IBM Global Parking Survey undertaken in 20 cities (including New Delhi and Bangalore from India), on an average, 30% of the traffic slowdown is usually caused by parking difficulties. It can take anywhere from 20-25 minutes for a person to find a parking space in the central area of a metropolitan city. The unavailability of parking spaces causes congestion on roads, which adds to the plight of commuters.“With smart parking apps, you don’t simply save time, but also fuel,” says Rasik. “Cars slow down in search of parking and waste a lot of fuel in the process. Smart parking can solve that issue and contribute to bringing down the carbon emissions.” The Get My Parking website claims that if smart parking facilities are employed, carbon emissions could reduce by 15-20% on average.

HMIB Shri M Venkaiah Naidu Visits DDK Ahmedabad - Impressed with the maintenance & cleanliness..
The Hon’ble Minister for Information & Broadcasting Shri M Venkaiah Naidu was in Ahmedabad on 8th of November 2016 in connection with various programmes of Ministry of Urban & Rural Development.The Officers of this Kendra Shri P.T.Appukuttan, DDE, Shri Dharmendra Tiwari, Dir (N), Dr.Rupa Mehta, HOP and Shri Prabhakar Varshney, EA received him at the Airport. Shri Naidu inquired about the Kendra’s various activities and changed his schedule and informed the officials present there that he is coming to the Doordarshan Kendra, Ahmedabad directly from the airport.
Thus, Shri Naidu reached the Kendra directly from the Airport at 8.50 AM. He was welcomed by Shri A K Gupta, DDE & HOO at the office. He visited the Technical areas of the Kendra such as Studio, News Section and took a round of the studio area and met the staff personally. He has been briefed about the technical facilities, News Activities, Programme Production and the efforts taken by the Kendra for Revenue Generation. The Hon’ble I & B Minister, Shri Naidu was impressed with the maintenance and cleanliness of the Kendra and has shared his views in the Visitors Book.At the time of see-off at Ahmedabad Airport, he has been apprised of the requirements to improve the Technical facilities and shortage of staff at the Kendra due to increased LIVE Coverages and LIVE telecast of events from entire Gujarat.

I & B ministry to promote transparency in newspaper body RNI
In a bid to promote transparency and accountability in the functioning of registrar of newspaper of India (RNI), the information and broadcasting ministry has decided to make the process online.Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu chaired the meeting of consultative committee of I&B ministry on Friday to discuss on the subject ‘working of the RNI. He said that RNI has been constantly re-engineering itself to make procedures and process simpler and the focus of the ministry is to make the processes online thereby promoting transparency and accountability. Naidu apprised the members of the committee about the steps being taken by the ministry in order to streamline the processes and functioning of the Registrar of Newspapers of India.
The minister mentioned that in view of the phenomenal growth of the print media sector, particularly after the opening up of economy in 1990s, the print media policy and guidelines had undergone some changes. Officials said that there was a need to update contemporaries and revise the legal mechanism in the print sector and to give statutory backing to print media policy and various guidelines. In this context, the minister apprised the members about the salient features of the proposed Press and Registration of Books and Publication (PRBP) Bill. Officials said that members of the committee gave suggestions regarding steps to be taken for modernization of RNI, simplification of various processes use of technology. The minister appreciated the suggestions received from the members and assured them that the suggestions would be duly considered.
A presentation was made by joint secretary on behalf of the ministry giving an overview of the functioning of the RNI. Members of the committee were apprised about the achievements and e-initiatives of RNI which included online filing of annual statement, titles, Tenders and an online grievance portal.

दूरदर्शन पर दिखेगी सान्या चड्ढा की उड़ान
किच्छा, [जेएनएन]: शहर की बेटी सान्या ने दिल्ली में बाल दिवस को लेकर प्रसार भारती के आयोजित कार्यक्रम में अपनी नृत्य कला का लोहा मनवाया। सान्या ने कार्यक्रम में ओडिसी नृत्य की शानदार प्रस्तुति देकर सभी को अचंभित कर दिया। हर किसी ने उसके नृत्य को सराहा। कार्यक्रम का प्रसारण 19 नवंबर को दूरदर्शन पर किया जाएगा। बाल दिवस को लेकर प्रसार भारती ने आकाशवाणी दिल्ली केंद्र ने उड़ान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम में पद्मश्री व ओडिसी नृत्य की महान गुरु रंजना गौहर की शिष्या किच्छा निवासी सान्या चड्ढा ने भी भाग लिया। सान्या ने नृत्य नाटिका मल्ली मारन का मंचन किया, जिसमें सान्या ने शानदार प्रस्तुति दी। मुख्य अतिथि व आकाशवाणी के निदेशक राजीव शुक्ल ने सान्या के नृत्य की सराहना कर कहा कि सान्या इतनी कम उम्र में बहुत ही अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर रही है।

Centre eases renewal norms for broadcasters
The decision will provide a major relief for the existing 963 channels including teleports, Naidu said. He added that the Ministry will continue to take more such steps to enhance ease of doing business, in consultation with the stakeholders. Naidu also announced that the 28th SIMCON (State Information Ministers’ Conference) will take place in New Delhi on December 9-10. Information ministers and principal secretaries from various States will participate. On the agenda are critical issues related to films, community radio and social media. Meanwhile, talking about the Centre’s decision to demonetise ₹500 and ₹1,000 notes, he said the NDA government has been taking several steps to curb the menace of black money ever since it came to power. The demonetisation has been hailed by all except “some vested interests” who are trying to create panic, he added. The move will provide a fillip to the formal economy, said the Minister.
