....... On my daily walk on the bank of the river SPREE in Berlin , I saw a beautiful statue . After close observation , I came to know that this was the bronze statue of Mr . Alfred Braun (5.3.1888 - 3. 1.1978) , the the first broadcaster of German Radio . Date of installation was not mentioned but the statue looked pretty old . ... Obaid Niazi
Senior broadcasters of Akashvani and Doordarshan also deserve great respect and it is the duty of serving officers among others to shoulder this responsibility. PB parivar always makes it's humble effort in this direction and requests station / sectional heads to invite and honour the retired broadcasters of their town on events such as Foundation Day etc.
