Shri.R.Murali, PEX spoke on Reading and Alternatives in the First Book Fair of Dharmapuri
The First Book Fair of Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu was held from 3rd to 12th August 2018. The Book Fair was thronged by the students and people from various walks of life. The lectures by the famous writers and poets like Shri.Vairamuthu , Shri.Perumal Murugan , Shri.Ramakrishnan and feminist speaker Smt.Parveen Sultana participated and enthralled the audience. In the penultimate day Shri. Gangadhar IPS S.P Dharmapuri District enlightened the audience about the various perspective development of young minds. On behalf of AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri Shri.R.Murali PEX spoke on Reading and Alternatives.The Fair was arranged by Dr.Senthil Former Member of Parliament and Shri.Sisubalan of Dharmapuri Readers' Forum. AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri also generated commercial revenue through this programme.

5 अगस्त 2018 को प्रातः 8 बजे आकाशवाणी गोरखपुर के स्टूडियो और ट्रांसमीटर परिसर में ध्वजारोहण के साथ 72वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। टाउनहाल स्थित आकाशवाणी के स्टूडियो परिसर में सुबह 8 बजे केंद्र के केंद्राध्यक्ष श्री ए0 के0 शर्मा (उपनिदेशक अभियांत्रिकी) ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया। आप के साथ केंद्र की कार्यक्रम प्रमुख श्रीमती अनामिका श्रीवास्तव, केंद्र के DDO श्री के0 पी0 कुशवाहा एवं पूर्व कार्यक्रम प्रमुख श्री तहसीन अब्बासी जी भी उपस्थित थे। भटहट स्थित ट्रांसमीटर परिसर में श्री राकेश कुमार शुक्ल (सहायक निदेशक अभियांत्रिकी) ने ध्वजारोहण किया। इस अवसर पर अभियांत्रिकी, कार्यक्रम एवं प्रशासनिक अनुभाग के समस्त कर्मचारियों के साथ साथ आकस्मिक कर्मियों की भी उपस्थिति रही।

Radio message saves thousands of child's lives in Burkina Faso !
A mass radio campaign in Burkina Faso encouraging parents to seek prompt treatment for sick children has saved thousands of lives, according to a New StudyThe showed that it is also one of the most cost-effective ways of saving children's lives.
"The study showed that in the areas which received the radio intervention, there was an increase in the amount of children being taken to health facilities. In particular, that increase was for the conditions that were the focus for the campaign: malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia,"
The radio campaign provided information to parents on what to do if their children developed symptoms of diarrhea, malaria or pneumonia. It was broadcast on seven radio stations -- each with a signal radius of about 50 kilometers (31 miles) -- between 2012 and 2015. Seven other radio stations served as control zones, in which the campaign wasn't broadcast.
Because each radio station served a particular area of rural Burkina Faso, radio was the predominant form of information and TV was absent, the researchers could effectively and rigorously control for the effects of the radio campaign. In science-speak, it's a randomized controlled trial, and it allows for strong comparisons between groups.
The study showed that where the radio program was broadcast, the number of consultations at primary health centers for malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia for children under the age of 5 increased dramatically, up to 73% in one instance, underlining the effectiveness of information campaigns in changing certain behaviors.
Using mathematical modeling, the researchers estimated that 3,000 lives had been saved as a result of the campaign.

स्वतंत्रता दिवस की 71वीं वर्षगांठ आकाशवाणी छिंदवाड़ा में बड़े हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाई गई. प्रातः 8:00 बजे केंद्रप्रमुख श्री नरेश पानतावणे द्वारा ध्वजारोहण किया गया. इस अवसर पर आकाशवाणी परिवार छिंदवाड़ा के सभी सदस्य उपस्थित रहे सभी ने एक दुसरे को इस राष्ट्रीय पर्व की बधाईया दी. अपने सारगर्भित उद्बोधन में श्री नरेश पानतावणे जी ने सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए स्वतंत्रता के क्या मायने होना चाहिए इस संबंध में अपने विचार रखें। तत्पश्चात कार्यक्रम प्रमुख श्री बी. एस. डेहरिया जी ने संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हम जहां हैं जिस कार्य में संलग्न है वहां रहते हुए देश की सेवा कर सकते हैं ध्वजारोहण के पश्चात कार्यालय प्रांगण में वृक्षारोपण किया गया.

अटल जी का वह इशारा.. अब भी याद है..!
मैं पदोन्नति पाकर आकाशवाणी गोरखपुर से नया नया आकाशवाणी लखनऊ आया था।नये पद दायित्व का ज्यादा अनुभव नहीं था।वी.वी.आई.पी.कवरेज से अक्सर समकक्ष लोग कन्नी काटते थे।मुझ नये नवेले को आदेश हुआ फैजाबाद जाकर प्रधानमंत्री अटल जी की जनसभा को कवर करने का ।तकनीकी टीम कुशल थी और मैनें अपने नौसिखियेपन का रोना उनसे रोकर गुहार लगाई कि सब कुछ सकुशल सम्पन्न हो ताकि नौकरी बची रहे।उन दिनों पोर्टेबल मेलट्रान पर ओ.बी.होती थी।शाम की जनसभा का पास आदि हमने दिन में पा लिया।किसी बड़े परिसर की जनसभा में लगभग 12फिट ऊंचा मंच था,काफ़ी दूरी की बैरीकेडिंग थी और उसी परिसर में हेलीकॉप्टर भी उतरना था।मंच के साइड में लेकिन मंच से काफ़ी दूर हमें जगह मिली ।तय समय पर गड़गड़ाहट करता हेलीकॉप्टर उतरा ।दिल की धुकधुकी बढ़ती रही।दोनो मेलट्रान पर रिकार्डिंग शुरू हुई।सकुशल पूरी भी हुई।
मुझे बताया गया था कि हर हाल में पी.एम.के अटैची को सभा समाप्त होते ही टेप दे देना है।क्यू शीट बन चुकी थी और टेप रिवाइंड हो ही रहा था कि अटल जी जनता को हाथ हिलाकर मंच से उतरने को हुए देखा ।घबड़ा कर मैं टेप का कार्टन (डिब्बा)हाथ में उठाकर चिल्लाने लगा ..प्लीज़,वन मिनट..वन मिनट..और घेरा तोड़ते हुए मंच की ओर दौड़ा।अटल जी का ध्यान मुझ पर गया,वे मंच पर रुक गये और उन्होंने अपने प्रेस अटैची को मेरी ओर इशारा किया ।वे जान गये कि ये आकाशवाणी की टीम है और नियमानुसार टेप हैंड ओवर करने के लिए मैं चिल्ला रहा हूं। प्रेस अटैची भागे भागे ख़ुद मेरे पास आ गये। तब तक टेप रिवाइंड हो चुका था और वह डिब्बा बंद भी हो चुका था।हमारी टीम की जान में जान आई ।मैनें हाथ हिलाकर अटल जी को धन्यवाद के लहजे में अभिव्यक्ति की और उन्होंने भी प्रति उत्तर दिया । उनके निधन के समाचार ने उन रोमांचक क्षणों को सचित्र सजीव कर दिया है।कितने महान थे अटल जी और आकाशवाणी के लिए उनके मन में कितना सम्मान था ।हजारों की भीड़ में भी वे मेरा मंतव्य समझ लिये और मुझे परेशानियों से बचा लिये ।उन्हें शत शत नमन !

Inspiration - बाटा जूते की सफलता की कहानी ......
साल 1894 से, जब चेकोस्लो-वाकिआ के शहर ज़लीन में टॉमस बाटा ने, अपने भाई एंटोनिन और बहन एना के साथ मिलकर जूते बनाने की शुरुवात की और इस कंपनी में उन्होंने 10 एम्प्लोईस भी रखे |
हलाकि टॉमस का यह काम नया बिलकुल भी नहीं था, क्युकी उनकी कई पढ़िया मोची का काम करती चली आ रही थी | लेकिन अपने इस हुनर को इतने बड़े स्तर पर आज़माने का रिस्क केवल टॉमस बाटा ने लिया ।
जब कंपनी एस्टेब्लिश करने के अगले ही साल, टॉमस को पैसों की कमी का सामना करना पड़ा और क़र्ज़ में डूबे टॉमस ने लेदर की बजाए कैनवास से जूते बनाने का फैसला किया और कैनवास सस्ते होने की वजह से उनके बनाये गए जूते बहुत तेजी से पोपुलर होने लगे | इसके बाद कंपनी की ग्रोथ भी बढ़ती चली गयी।
जब कंपनी एस्टेब्लिश करने के अगले ही साल, टॉमस को पैसों की कमी का सामना करना पड़ा और क़र्ज़ में डूबे टॉमस ने लेदर की बजाए कैनवास से जूते बनाने का फैसला किया और कैनवास सस्ते होने की वजह से उनके बनाये गए जूते बहुत तेजी से पोपुलर होने लगे | इसके बाद कंपनी की ग्रोथ भी बढ़ती चली गयी।
कुछ साल बाद, 1904 मे टॉमस अमेरिका गए और ये सीखकर आये कि वहां पर बोहत सारे जूतों को एक साथ बनाने का कौन सा तरीका अपनाया जाता है, और फिर उस टेक्निक को अपनाते हुए उन्होंने अपनी प्रोडक्शन पहले से कही ज्यादा कर ली |फिर उन्होंने ऑफिसियल लोगों के लिए batovky नाम का जूता बनाया और इस जूते को इसकी सिम्पलिसिटी, स्टाइल, लाइट वेट और प्राइस के लिए काफी पसंद किया गया और इसकी पॉपुलैरिटी ने बाटा कंपनी की ग्रोथ काफी हद तक बड़ा दी।
लेकिन आगे चल कर टामस के भाई अन्टोनी की मृत्यु हो गयी और उनकी बहन भी शादी कर चली गयी |
जिससे वे अकेले पड़ गए, लेकिन टॉमस, बिना रुके चलते रहने का इरादा रखने वालों में से थे, उन्होंने अपने छोटे भाईयों को बिजनेस में शामिल कर लिया और किसी भी प्रॉब्लम को अपने ऊपर हावी नहीं होने दिया…
और साल 1912 आते-आते बाटा के एम्पलॉईस की संख्या लगभग 600 से ज्यादा हो चुकी हो चुकी थी।
और 1914 में जब पहला वर्ल्डवॉर शुरू हुआ तो क्वालिटी और कम्फर्ट के लिए पहचानी जाने वाली इस कंपनी को सेना के लिए जूते बनाने का बड़ा आर्डर मिला और 1918 तक चली इस वर्ल्ड वॉर के दौरान, ऑर्डर्स को टाइम पर पूरा करने के लिए बाटा कंपनी में एम्प्लॉएंस की संख्या दस गुना बढ़ा दी गयी…….. और इस कंपनी ने बहुत से शहरों में अपने स्टोर्स भी खोल लिए।
लेकिन वर्ल्ड वॉर ख़तम होने के बाद जबरजस्त मंदी का दौर आया, जो बाटा शू कंपनी के लिए भी बहुत बड़ी प्रोब्लम लेकर आया..लेकिन इस बार भी टॉमस बाटा ने इन प्रोब्लम्स को बहुत अच्छे तरीके से हंडल किया, और कंपनी के लिए एक रिस्की फैसला लिया,
उन्होंने किया कुछ यूँ की बाटा शूज की प्राइस आधी कर दी, और फिर कंपनी के वर्कर्स ने भी उनका बखूबी साथ दिया और अपनी तनख्वाह में 40% की कटौती करने को तैयार हो गये |
और बहुत जल्द हाफ रेट के रिस्क और टीम वर्क ने ऐसा कमाल कर दिखाया कि मंदी के जिस टाइम में बाकी सारी कम्पनीज अपना बिज़नेस बंद करने की कगार पर थी, वही बाटा शू कंपनी को सस्ते और कम्फर्टेबल जूते बनाने के ढेरों ऑर्डर्स मिलने लगे।
बस यहाँ से टामस और उनकी कंपनी बाटा ने कभी भी पीछे मुड कर नहीं देखा और धीरे धीरे वह दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी फुटवियर ब्रांड बन गयी |और मौजूदा समय में बाटा 70 से भी ज्यादा देशो में अपनी पहचान बना चूका है और पूरी दुनिया में इसके 5200 रिटेल स्टोर्स है और अगर इस इस शू कंपनी के हेडक्वाटर की बात करें तो वह स्विट्ज़रलैंड में मौजूद हैं |

Inspiration - Anisha Singh: CEO and Co-founder- Mydala.
Mydala is an e-commerce website that provides discount offers to restaurants, gyms, travel, grocery and household products. Anisha Singh is the CEO of Mydala.
It was founded by Anisha Singh along with Ashish Bhatnagar and Arjun Basu in 2009. It has its headquarters in New Delhi, India. This is the second company started by Anisha, but it is her first in India.
Anisha was born into a big joint family in Delhi and she calls herself a typical sardarni. Anisha Singh holds a Master’s degree in political communication and an MBA from American University in Washington DC. She spent 12 years on the East Coast and has worked for Clinton Administration helping women entrepreneurs to rise funding for innovative women-led businesses. Anisha started a company which provided digital content to companies in US. And when it didn’t require her for full time, mydala came into existence.
Anisha said that she has a thing for unusual names. Her first company was called Kinis. So, she explained that ‘dala’ is a Sanskrit word which means group. And so, mydala means my group.
Anisha says that her two daughters, aged six and two are what make everything worthwhile. Her daughters and her husband are her source of inspiration and strength.
Mydala is India’s largest local services marketing platform, present in 209 Indian cities and 28 million registered users.
She is a great supporter of women rights and encourages them to do what they want to and supports them to battle their fears.
Anisha has spoken at various high profile platforms such as Start-up India, Surge, TEDx, WIRED London, One Global Conference and GMIC. She was also chosen as a rising talent in 2016 by the women’s forum in France. Anisha has also won several awards such as Zee TV’s Women Achiever Award for Outstanding Young Entrepreneur 2016. CGHS Reimbursement of Claims
In case of treatment in emergency in non-empanelled hospital/expenditure incurred for treatment in empanelled hospital, Medical Reimbursement Claim (MRC) will have to be submitted by the beneficiary for reimbursement of expenses incurred.
The claim is to be submitted to the concerned department by serving employees and to the CMO I/C of the CGHS wellness Centre (where the CGHS card is registered) by the pensioner beneficiary within 3 months of discharge from the hospital.
In case of delay in submission of claim beyond 3 months, the reasons justifying the delay must be stated by the beneficiary in a forwarding letter. The claim is to be submitted in duplicate in the prescribed form.
The following enclosures must be attached with the claim forms(duplicate):-
Copy of CGHS card of patient (along with copy of CGHS card of principal cardholder if patient is other than the principal cardholder)
Copy of permission letter, if any
Emergency certificate(in original), in case of emergency admission
Copy of discharge summery
Ambulance use certificate(original), if any
Original bills/vouchers/cash memo etc. for the amount claimed
Other information/documents to be provided wherever applicable-
Break up of investigations /tests (details of individual tests, number of tests with rates) from hospital
In case of lost papers, photo copies/ duplicate copies of bills attested by treating doctor along with affidavit in prescribed format to be submitted
In case of death of principal cardholder affidavit as per prescribed format to be enclosed
In case partial settlement of claim by any insurance agency, copies of bills duly endorsed by insurance agency, mentioning that original bills have been retained by them and amount of claim settled by the agency, to be submitted
The documents to be attached in case- (I) if implant used- invoice number, sticker with serial number of implant.(II)if coronary stent/s used-outer pouch of stent/s with sticker(III)when pacemaker/ICD replaced-copy of warranty certificate of earlier pacemaker/ICD
The bank details in the mandate form needs to be enclosed
The telephone number and email ID of the beneficiary should invariably be mentioned correctly.
Cancelled cheque/Photocopy of a cheque needs to be enclosed Acknowledgement and following up of the claim submitted:
The claim is to be submitted at the CGHS wellness Centre where the beneficiary is registered. On verification as per check list if the claim is found to be complete with all documents then an acknowledgement will be generated with a claim number in the computer module of the wellness Centre.
The status of the claim can be viewed in the CGHS computer module using the claim number.
Particulars of the claims which are more than one month old are now displayed on the CGHS website.
MRC claimed from dual source (CGHS and Medical Insurance Company)
In case the beneficiary is also covered under Insurance and the claim has been settled by the
Insurance Agency, the liability of CGHS will be reimbursement to the extent of balance of total claim after payment by insurance company subject to the maximum amount of CGHS rate.

More DRM Trials for Asia - CNR and RTI are testing the Digital Radio Mondiale standard
Two Asian broadcasters have been trialing the Digital Radio Mondial digital radio standard over recent months.
China National Radio began carrying out open-ended domestic DRM tests on July 23, broadcasting 22 hours a day (from 8:25 p.m. to 6:05 p.m UTC the following day) on 6030 kHz.
It is reported that CNR’s regular AM transmission on 6030 kHz will be shut down and the broadcaster may undertake additional DRM test transmissions.
In addition, Radio Taiwan International will begin airing German-language DRM broadcasts from the Tamsui transmitter site in Taiwan. On Thursday Aug. 9, DRM broadcasts will take place on the 11990 kHz frequency range and then again on 9700 kHz.
RTI also has DRM broadcasts scheduled for Sunday Aug. 26 on 11990 kHz from 5 to 6 p.m. UTC and on 9700 kHz from 6 to 7 p.m. UTC, as well as on Sunday Sept. 9 on 11990 kHz from 5 to 6 p.m. UTC and on 9700 kHz 6 to 7 p.m. UTC.
