Mile Sur Mera Tumhara : ( Group Collaboration of 18 Singers )

This is a humble tribute to the great nation of India on the eve of its 69th independence day (2016). It is a collaboration by 18 singers across the globe using the Smule Sing! Karaoke App on the original Mile Sur Mera Tumhara song, the national song of India. We came together to celebrate unity in diversity and connect hearts and minds across the globe through the strings of music with one Note, ek Sur!
If you grew up in the late 80s or early 90s, chances are that you have heard the familiar tunes of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara on Doordarshan. The song was composed in 1988 as a paean to India’s famed diversity and featured musical giants such Bhimsen Joshi, M Balamuralikrishnan, Lata Mangeskhar as well as celebrities such as Shabana Azmi, Sharmila Tagore and Amitabh Bachchan. The song, along with India’s best known animated short film, Ek Chidiya , Anek Chidiya , were part of the state’s concerted effort to promote social harmony.

Obituary : P.K. Singh (50) one of the most vibrant IBES Officer expires

Shri Praveen Kumar Singh, one of the most social and vibrant IBES officer left his body today, i.e, 15-08-2018 at 2.00 am leaving behind thousands of friends and well wishers who were constantly praying for his early recovery after a major surgical operation of liver and kidney transplant which took place at Apollo Hospital, Chennai last week.

Shri P.K. Singh, a man with Golden Heart was extremely popular among juniors as well as seniors.  He was the current President of IBES Officers Association.  P.K. Singh was loved like their own child by hundreds of retired officers and was brother of thousands and stood with everybody in times of needs.  He had been the youngest Council Member and Honorary Secretary of Broadcast Engineering Society (India) and the youngest Joint Secretary, General Secretary and the President of AIR and DD Engineering Association (IBES).

Shri P.K. Singh was a born fighter and had successfully come over an heart attack and two brain strokes in past two years.  Despite severe damage to his kidney and liver,  He remained as jolly as ever till last.  Parth, his elder son, who is studying in IIT, Rourkey donated liver for his father and his maternal uncle donated one of his kidney giving a great hope to all of us but probably he was more dearer to the Almighty and left many of us disturbed and weeping on this day.

People like P.K.Singh never die, they just leave behind their body and continue to live in our hearts and make their presence felt.   Prasar Bharati Parivar deeply condoles the untimely demise of one of its most loved family member and prays to the Almighty for the courage to the bereaved family and peace of the departed soul.  Prasar Bharati Parivar vows to stand with Manu and Parth, the sons of P.K. Singh and his wife and family members during these most difficult times of their life.  

May God give them strength.

Independence day celebration at AIR Bangalore

All India Radio Bengaluru celebrated 72nd Independence day at AIR campus.  Sri. A. Hanumanthu, DDG(E)/HOO hosted Indian flag at 8.30am and said it was not so easy for the India to get freedom from the Britishers however, various great people and freedom fighters of India made it a truth.  They had scarified their lives in attaining the freedom for their future generations without worrying about their comfort, rest and freedom.   All India Radio is broadcasting various special programmes on Independence day.
In this connection  All India Radio wishes to celebrate this year’s Independence day by providing an ambience for the eminent artist to celebrate their “creative freedom” and to have a ‘musical dialogue‘with each other. 
Young India freedom Rhythms features the stalward artists are :-

K.U. Jayachandra Rao(Mridanga),
Giridhar Udupa(Ghata),
C. P. Vyas Vittala(Khanjira),

This is unique programme will be presented before a specially invited scholars and connoisseurs at the studios of AIR, Bangalore from 10am to 11am.  The programme will be broadcast ‘live’all over Karnataka and on Raagam 24x7 channel reaching world over.

All the staff members of All India Radio  Primary channel,  CBS, CRD,  CCW, ARU, News Unit, Administration Section, Engineering sections were participated.

आकाशवाणी वडोदरा मे 72वा स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह उत्साह और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया । ध्वज कार्यालय प्रमुख श्रीमती मीनाक्षी सिंघवी द्वारा फहराया गया । इस अवसर पर सभी कर्मचारी एवं अधिकारी उपस्थित थे, शहीदों को याद करते हुए उन्होने कहा, हमे आतंकवाद ,जातिवाद एवं भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत के निर्माण के लिए ईमानदारी से अपने कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन करते हुए राष्ट्र के विकास और समृद्धि में योगदान करना चाहिये।साथ ही उन्होने कार्यालय के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियो को सत्यनिष्ठा के साथ निर्वहन करने हेतु प्रेरित किया । इस अवसर पर कार्यालय एवं स्टूडियो भवन की सजावट की गई, अंत मे नाश्ता एवं मिठाई वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ ।

72 Independence Day celebrated in NABM Bhubaneswar.

72nd Independence day was celebrated in NABM Bhubaneswar with great enthusiasm. At 8:00 a.m. Shri. P.K. Pati, Deputy Director General (E) hoisted the National Flag. Then National Anthem was rendered. It was followed by speech by Shri. K.K.Pasayat, Deputy Director (E), Shri. P.L.Das, Asst. Director (P), Shri. A.K.Panigrahi, PEX. At last Shri. P.K. Pati addressed the gathering. He appeal to work with full dedication, remove the barriers of cast, religion, come together and contribute to build the nation. Trainees participating in various ongoing training programmes also attended the flag hoisting ceremony. Then cultural event was organised in class room. The ceremony concluded after refreshment and coffee.

आकाशवाणी इंदौर केंद्र मालवा हाऊस पर आज ७२ वाँ स्वतंत्रता दिवस सभी स्टाफ़ साथियों ने हर्ष -उल्लास के साथ मनाया। ध्वजारोहण कार्यालय प्रमुख व उप महानिदेशक अभि. श्री पी सेतुमाधवन जी ने किया ,इस अवसर पर आपने स्वतंत्रता के महत्व को बताते हुवे सभी को स्वतंत्रता के साथ जवाबदेही के बारे में बताया ।

आपने बताया की हमारे प्रथम प्रधान मंत्री श्री प. नेहरु जी ने कहाँ था की जितनी ज़्यादा स्वतंत्रता उतनी ही ज़्यादा हमरी जवाबदेही होती है और ये आज के परिपेक्ष्य मे हमें दिखती भी हे , आज हमें हमारे मोबाइल पर सभी कूछ उपलब्ध है , एक तरफ़ हमें कई उपयोगी व ज्ञानवर्धक जानकारी मिलती है तो दूसरी तरफ़ हम कुछ नेगेटिव बाते भी प्राप्त करते हे , जो हमारे अंदर नफ़रत व कई तरह की बुराई भी ले आती हे ,अतः हमें मिलकर हमारे बच्चों व युवा वर्ग को इसके बारे में बताना होगा तभी हमरे लिए सही मायने में स्वतंत्रता होगी।

कार्यालय प्रमुख श्री पी सेतुमाधवन जी व श्री कुलकर्णी जी ने सभी को शुभकामनायें दी । अंत मेन आकाशवाणी इंदौर के साथियों ने राष्ट्रीय गीत सुनाकर कार्यक्रम को पूर्ण किया ।

 15 अगस्त 2018, 72 वा भारतीय स्वतंत्रता दिन आकाशवाणी कोल्हापुरमे बड़े हर्षोल्लासके साथ मनाया गया ।
सुबह 8:30 बजे श्रीमती तनुजा कानडे, सहायकनिदेशक (का) इनके करकमलोंद्वारा ध्वजारोहन समारोह संपन्न हुआ। इस शुभ अवसर पर श्री सतीश पडलकर ( सहायक अभियंता ) ,श्रीमती सुजाता कहालेकर ( कार्यक्रम अधिकारी ), श्री श्रीपाद कहालेकर ( कार्यक्रम अधिकारी ) श्री प्रवीण चिपलूनकर ( कार्यक्रम अधिकारी ) श्री संजय पेटकर (सहायक अभियंता, दूरदर्शन अनुरक्षन केंद्र) तथा आकाशवाणी कोल्हापुर और दूरदर्शनके सभी अधिकारी , कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे । 
आकाशवाणी कोल्हापुरके प्रेषित स्थल पन्हाला आस्थापना पर श्री प्रकाश खाड़े (वरीष्ठ अभियांत्रिकी सहायक ) इनके शुभ हाथों ध्वजारोहन संपन्न हुआ ।

आकाशवाणी, जोधपुर केन्द्र पर स्वतन्त्रता दिवस-2018 समारोह के साथ-साथ विविध भारती चैनल एफ.एम. सन सिटी का स्थापना दिवस भी पूरे उत्साह और उमंग के साथ मनाया गया। विविध भारती चैनल की स्थापना को आज 52 वर्ष पूरे हो गये। समारोह के प्रारंभ में केन्द्राध्यक्ष श्री आर. एस. त्यागी, उपमहानिदेशक द्वारा ध्वजारोहण किया गया। उपस्थित स्टाफ सदस्यों को संक्षिप्त उद्बोधन किया।

तत्पश्चात् केन्द्राध्यक्ष श्री त्यागी ने विविध भारती चैनल एफ.एम. सन सिटी के तमाम श्रोताओं को चैनल की स्थापना की शुभकामनायें दी। श्री त्यागी ने एफ.एम. सनसिटी से जुड़े अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को भी शुभकामनायें दी और उनका आह्वान किया कि वे इसी प्रकार उत्साह और उमंग के साथ नये-नये कार्यक्रमों के जरिये श्रोताओं का मनोरंजन और ज्ञानवर्द्धन करते रहें। श्री त्यागी ने कहा कि आमजन के मनोरंजन और ज्ञानवर्द्धन में आकाशवाणी के प्राइमरी चैनल और विविध भारती चैनल की बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका सदैव रही है।

The DDG (E) All India Radio Kargil B Jaya Prakash hoisted the National Flag at All India Radio Kargil Headquarters at Baroo during an impressive function in which hundreds of Children from Adjoining Villages and the officials, Family Members and 50 inmates of Bal Ashram participated.On this occasion addressing to the Students B Jaya Prakash urged upon them to focus on their studies so that they can serve the nation with pride.He told that here at all India Radio each and every employee are trying its best to serve the community and for making All India Radio Kargil the real Public Service Broadcaster.

DDG (E) urged upon all the section of All India Radio Kargil to come forward and help in to provide the best service whether it be Programme Production, News, or quality of the service.

National Flag was also hoisted at HPT Kurbathang, AIR Drass, Tai Suru and Padum and the employees celebrated 72nd Independence Day.
