Shri P.G. Hignikar, Executive Engineer, CCW Bhopal had passed away on 21st May 2016, four years back in a road accident. He was born on 10th May 1959. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Prasar Bharati parivar volunteer had talked to Shri Gaurav, younger son of Lt. Shri Hingnikar and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. Today some rituals were performed by them on this event. Their elder son Pawan Hignikar is a medical student and after completing his studies is working as a surgeon in Duttamegha Hospital in Sawangi (near to Wardha) and younger son Gaurav Hingnikar after completing his graduation is studying Business Analytics from IIM Indore online. His wife is in good healthy condition and staying at Wardha in their own flat with both sons.
Our volunteer although called Smt. Vandana but as she was busy with some household cores, her younger son attended the call. Later to our surprise, Smt. Vandana called back our volunteer just to express her gratitude for calling them today.
