Dr. Malathi R. Bhat, Asstt. Director(Official Language) retired on 30th April 2020. Malathi Bhat joined All India Radio, Mangalore as Hindi Translator on 26th May, 1989 and promoted as Asstt. Director(OL) during August 2018. She served in AIR Mangalore and AIR Dharwad.
Dr. Malathi R. Bhat started her career as Music Teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Panamburu and then worked as Hindi Lecturer at SMS College, Brahmavar during 1988.
All India Radio, Mangalore bagged Akashvani National Award in 2012. AIR Mangalore was awarded First prize continuously for 26 years from TOLIC for successful implementation of Official Language Hindi in AIR Mangalore Office. She was awarded Doctorate by Dakshina Bharata Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras on the subject Radio Play. She is a good orator and command over Hindi translation work. Malathi Bhat translated more than 30 National play broadcast All India Radio on National hook up.
She is a very dedicated hard working and disciplined employee of the Organisation.
