Shri Sarat Chandra Moharana, Carpenter, DDK, Bhubaneswar will retire from Government Service on superannuation w.e.f. 31.07.2016.
Joined as a Carpenter at DDK, Sambalpur on 28.02.1986, Shri S.C.Moharana was transferred to DDK, Cuttack on 01.11.1988 and then to DDK, Bhubaneswar when the Kendra was shifted from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar in November’1992. He served different Kendras of Doordarshan almost for a period of 31 years and has shown his creativity, integrity and commitment to the works assigned to him. He passed Sangeet Bisharad in Tabla from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in the year 1991 and is a recognised Tabla Player of AIR, Cuttack since 2005. He has also played Tabla in different programmes of DDK, Bhubaneswar and has received appreciation from the music lovers. From May, 2014, he is looking after the Scenic Store of DDK, Bhubaneswar. He is a hard working and disciplined employee of the organisation. He is also an active member of Doordarshan Recreation Club, Bhubaneswar.
