The final match of media cup was played between Akashvani and Local Electronics. Local electronics captain Pravin Bablu won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 98 and was bowled out in 19th over. In reply Akashvani chased the score successfully with almost 4 overs to spare losing 5 wickets. Akashvani Captain Randhir Thakur was man of the match.A total of eight teams had participated in the tournament played over a span of almost 10 days which included teams like Prabhat Khabar, Sahara etc.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Commissioner of Police Shri Khandelwal, city SP Shri. Har Kishore Rai, Municipal Commissioner Darbhanga, Pro VC of LNMU and Akashvani Darbhanga station head Shri. K C Sinha.
