Manali Shelke, daughter of Manoj Shelke,Engg Asst DDK Pune , a special girl from the 'Kamayani' organization, has been in high spirits in the International Special Olympics, which will be held in Dubai from 14th March 2019. She is going to represent India in the game of weightlifting (48 Kg Section).
Trainers decided to train her with weight lifting due to Manali Shekel, Manali learned in Pune, by recognizing the qualities, perseverance and quickness of the game that required the game and the body's physical body. Manali's parents also got to know about it
With the perseverance of effort, Manali initially participated in many competitions and did well. In the state-level weightlifting tournament held in Kolhapur, she won gold in 48kg category for jerk, scand and bench. In the Punjab, Jharkhand, Delhi competitions, she won the gold medal. Along with increasing quality, Manali's confidence has also increased and finally she has an opportunity to represent the country.
