Radio Kashmir Srinagar continued its series with personalities of note( Naamwar - get together with eminent personalities)who have contributed towards growth of culture and society.This time it was a get together with author and historian Prof.Fida Mohammad Hasnain. A 93 year old octogenarian with 39 books to his credit.
A paper on the life and achievements of Prof.Hasnain was presented by Dr.Farooq Fayaz.The guest was felicitated with a shawl and a citation.Later a highly enlightening and thought provoking interaction between the guest and the audience lasted for one hour.
The guests were welcomed by Program Head of RK Srinagar S H Qaisar while the event was conducted by Rashid Nizami and Satish Vimal presented vote of thanks.
