On 19th September Akashvani Aurangabad celebrated its 42nd Birthday with great fervor and enthusiasm. The day started with an informal meet called by Head of the office Shri Ajay Surwade, in which all the employees of AIR Aurangabad were greeted warmly by Shri Surwade. In this meet the oldest employee, Shri Qadar spoke about the glorious traditions and rich culture of AIR which made him feel proud to work in.On account of the Birth anniversary, many listeners visited AIR with flowers and extended their good wishes to AIR. The afternoon of the Day saw another event, when a big cake was ceremoniously cut in the cabin of the newly joined AD(P), Shri Jayant Kagalkar.
But, the climax was yet to come. The evening got decorated with a cultural fest, which was flooded with Good Wishes, entertainment and an open hearted mingling of the AIR staff, casual employees and retired persons of AIR, Aurangabad. On this occasion many staff members spoke,while casual employees expressed great satisfaction and pride over their alliance with Akashvani. A skit- “Akroshvani Vs Akashvani” was presented by the casual assignees. Many participants entertained the audience with Karaoke singing, which was hugely applauded. The gala evening culminated in a grand Dinner. The entire event, was enjoyed and appreciated by one and all.
Most importantly, first time in the history, this entire event was podcast LIVE over Facebook and received tremendous response from viewers, over 500 people could see their favourite announcers LIVE on Facebook of #akashwaniaurangabad.
