Smt. Sailaja Mohan, Private Secretary, at the O/o. ADG(E)(SZ), AIR & TV, Chennai retired on superannuation on 31st May 2016.
She started her career as Stenographer in Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai as early as August 1975 soon after a week after the inauguration on 15th August 1975. She has served as PA to many of the Directors, to start with Shri Muralidharan, then Shri S.C. Garg, Shri S.K. Kapoor, Shri R.S. Sawdekar, Smt. Akila Sivaraman, Shri K.P.K. Nambiar, Shri A. Natarajan, Shri N.G. Srinivasa, Shri Ashok Jailkhani and Shri V. Senapathi. From March 2011 till May 2014, she had served as PA to the DDG(E) Shri M. Ananadan and on getting promotion, she joined the O/o. ADG(E)(SZ), AIR & TV, Chennai as Private Secretary. She has served in our Department for 40 years and 9 months. A long innings of a sincere Government servant is over and Lets all wish her a happy retired family life.
