A function was organized at AIR, Thiruvananthapuram on 25.09.2017 - 02:00 pm at Akashvani Studio Foyer for presenting reports pertaining to the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Vayalum Veedum programme and also in r/o “Development of Agriculture in Kerala State with integrated instructions”.
The programme started with prayers by Smt. Manjula Mrinalini, Staff Artist. Shri. Muraleedharan Thazakkara, Programme Executive (F&H) gave a welcome address. Shri. R. Vimalasenan Nair, Station Director presided over the function. Hounourable Minister of Agriculture, Kerala State, Shri. V. S. Sunil Kumar received the first copy of the above report and was the main speaker of the function. Shri. R. Haley, Former Director, Agriculture Department gave congratulatory message and spoke about the importance of Radio in agricultural activities.
The above programme was also attended by Smt. Mayusha A.M., Deputy Director (News), Shri. S. Radhakrishnan, Assistant Director (RABM), Smt. Mallika Kurup, Assistant Director (CBS), Smt. P. A. Usha, Assistant Director (OL) and Smt. Rakhi Krishnan, Administrative Officer. All staff members of AIR, Thiruvananthapuram, farmers and other dignitaries from the agricultural department graced the occasion. Vote of Thanks was advocated by Smt. Leelamma Mathew, Assistant Director (P).
