To commemorate a fortnight long Hindi Day Celebrations at AIR, Thiruvananthapuram a valedictory function was organized in the Conference Hall of Akashvani on 28.09.2017 - 11:30 am.
The programme started with prayer recital by Smt. B. Renjini Varma, Staff Artist followed by lighting of lamp. Shri. R. Vimalasenan Nair, SD, Shri. N. Rajendran, DDE, Shri. S. Radhakrishnan, AD(P), RABM, Smt. P. A. Usha, AD(OL) and, Smt. Rakhi Krishnan, AO spoke on the occasion regarding importance of Hindi in our day to day life. The winners of the various competition held during the fortnight were given cash award and merit certificates. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks by Smt. Rita Srikant, LDC.
