Opening of Silver Jubilee year will be inaugurated by eminent personality Sh. Sanjaybhau Dhotre Member of Parliament, Sh.Ranjit Patil, Gaurdian Minister, Sh. G.Shrikanth Dist. Collector,Ujjwalatai Deshmukh, Mayor AMC and Sh. Chandrakishor Meena Superintendent of Police Akola.
Since commissioning of the station various officers served this station and contributed their work for the betterment of the station.
All efforts had been continuously made for improving Technical facility at the station. ADG(WZ) office had extended their good support in improving the technical facilities as well as building and premises maintenance. Office premises has been maintained in neat and tidy condition . Premises look has been uplifted by maintaining lawn and trees .
Some of the Highlights wing wise :-.
1.Programme Wing:-
Every efforts are being taken to produce good programm. Changuna novel was presented by dramatic reading to the listeners and very much appreciated by listeners. Bola Kay Mhanata was also one of the famous programm and many more listener attractive programme broadcast ed.
2.:- Engg Wing:- All Engineers are taking good efforts to give Best quality to the listeners. Required technical changes and suggestion from subordinates are always appreciated.
Station had bagged various awards during these 24 years .
1.1989- Awarded Best Installed Project in W/Z.
2.1994- Awarded II prize under best import substation category “Reutilisation
of R-15 Absorber Resistance in 2x3 KW FM transmitter.
3. 2009-2010- Awarded HINDI Patika puraskar.
4.2010- Awarded for Modification of cooling system of transmitter.
Station has been nominated for Best Maintained station in WZ for Year2014.
3.Administrative Wing:-
No audit para is remains pending. All pension cases are settled within time. Administrative wing takes all care to settle personal claims of staff within time.
All wings are doing work with proper coordination for the betterment of the station.
