The Tricolour was hoisted at the Studio Complex of AIR Tezpur by the Head of Office, AIR Tezpur, Sri Shyamalendu Das, while in the AIR Tezpur Transmitter Copmplex , by the Head of Engineering,
Sri B K Bendre, at 7:30 in the Morning of 15th August 2017. The Staff of AIR Tezpur were present in both the venues while the family members of the Staff added more colour to the celebration at the
Studio Complex, which is adjacent to the Staff Quarters, by their enthusiastic presence. Inspite of the
Studio Complex and Staff Quarter Complex being under Knee-Deep water and Waist-Deep water at many portions , from the deluge that is afflicting Assam, the participation was overwhelming.
