National power lifting championship for special children was held by Special Olympic Bharat at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Total 150 athletes participated from 17 states.
Manali got a gold medal in Bench Press,and a bronze medal in combination. Manali is a daughter of Manoj Shelke, who is working as Engg. Asst. at DDK Pune.
Now selected athletes will be trained in camping from next month. Total four camping will be organised. Selected athletes will participate in International special Olympics at Abu Dhabi from 14th March 2019 to 21st March 2019.
