Our beloved ADP Shri. P. Prabhakaran, Programme Head, AIR, Puducherry passed away this morning. His funeral is to take place at his native place Minjur tomorrow.
Shri Prabhakaran has served AIR for 29 years. He first joined AIR, Chennai as Transmission Executive in 1988. He later joined AIR, Coimbatore as Programme Executive the same year. He subsequently served AIR at Chennai, Chennai Vividh Bharathi, Karaikal, Tiruchirapalli and Tirunelveli. Shri Prabhakaran assumed charge as Programme Head at AIR, Puducherry in 2015 and introduced several innovative programmes including Nalanthana, Aalaya Dharisanam and Makkal Medai.
He was recently under treatment for ill health and passed away this morning. AIR family comes together at this moment of grief on the loss of its dear colleague.
