Fourth episode of 'निवेदक आपल्या भेटीला' (Meet our Announcer) was conducted on 13th April, 2017. It was organised in AIR Pune's auditorium. Every inch of auditorium was occupied by audience. At 5:30 p.m. the event began with audio visual clip in which childhood and college life of versatile announcer of AIR Pune Shri. Prasad Kulkarni, was shown. It was followed by his interview. He was interviewed by Smt. Archna Sane. During interview Shri. Prasad Kulkarni revealed his personal life. He explained how he got attached to AIR Mumbai when he was in 5th standard. Then talked about cultural activities he carried out in college and in public. He participated in orchestra as a singer. Then he performed a famous Marathi song on recorded track. The audience was highly pleased and appreciated with loud cheers and demanded "oncemore'. There demand was fulfilled. Then he narrated his contribution for AIR Pune. An audio clip of earlier broadcasted programme "Mahak" in which he intervied famous cartoon Donald Duck, was played. His mimicry of Donald Duck was enjoyed by audience with loud clapping. Then colleagues and friends of Shri. Kulkarni share their experiences of working with him. They appreciated his humbleness, devotion and attitude. Smt. Sangeeta Kulkarni wife of Shri. Prasad Kulkarni presented her humorous poems on her experiences with Shri. Prasad.
It was followed by Smt. Sushama Suradkar,s power point presentation who also extended technical help to Shri. Prasad Kulkarni for this event. Being an engineer she explained how All India Radio record events outside studio. How live programme is broadcast on radio. Which recording equipment are used at present and were used earlier, with the help of their images. Audience found it very informative.
After Smt. Suradkar's presentation again Shri. Prasad Kulkarni came on stage and interacted with audience. Listeners present in auditorium appreciated Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar [DDG (Engg.) and Head of office] and Shri. Ravindra Khasnis [Asst. Director(Prog. and Head of Prog. section] for their initiative to organise such events. One of the listeners and admirers of AIR Pune Shri. Dukandar gifted presents to Shri. Kulkarni, Shri. Bendre, Shri. Bhujbal, Shri. Shinde ( all are announcers of AIR Pune) and senior officers of AIR Pune. The event was concluded after photo session. The recording of this event was carried out by Shri. Ravindra Ranjekar (A.E) and his team comprising Shri. R.H.Chavan, Shri. Nilesh Ghatole and Shri. Sagar Raut.
