Very popular family serial presented by AIR Pune 'मस्त चाललय' will complete three years on Saturday 8th April, 2017 i.e. second Saturday of April month. During these three years more than 150 episodes were broadcasted regularly on every Saturday morning from 9:40 to 9:55 hrs. on Pune 'A' channel [Medium Wave, 792 kHz].
In April 2014 while preparing fix point chart for programme Smt. Rageeni Yadav (then Asst. Director AIR Pune) and Shri. Arun Solanki ( then PEX-CO and existing Asst. Director AIR Pune) proposed to broadcast family serial which will highlight social, cultural, welfare issues and some issues which a common man faces in his day to day life, in humorous style. Dr. Pratima Jagtap (Announcer, AIR Pune) accepted the task of script writing as well as performing a character of "Priya" in this serial. Shri. Sidharth Bendre (Announcer, AIR Pune), is performing a roll of Sushantdada, Shri. Prasad Kulkarni (Announcer, AIR Pune) - Prashant, Shri. Sunjay Bhujbal - Sandy, Shri. Madhav Modak (Tabla Player) - Khaprekaka, Smt. Archna Sane - Mavshi (Aunt), Smt. Rohini Keshte - Suma and Smt. Sonali Rao - Aarya, are very famous characters of this serial. Some of the issues which highlighted were Save girl child, Save water, Sound pollution, Water pollution, Air pollution, Cashless transactions, Demonetization, State and Central Government welfare Schemes for farmers, poor and common man. The serial also gave message about the awareness while celebrating various festivals and explained the motive behind celebration of these festival, in humorous way.
On 8th April, 2017 third anniversary of this serial was celebrated by cutting cake and distributing among the staff. Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar (DDG Engg. and Head of Office), Shri. Ravindra Khasnis (Asst. Director, Prog. and Head of Prog. section) Shri. Arum Solanki (Asst. Director Prog.) and Shri. Nitin Kelkar (Asst. Director, News) were present. Shri. Khasnis appreciated Dr. Jagtap and her team for their efforts and dedication. He reveal that this serial is very popular among the listeners. All staff felicitated Dr. Jagtap and her team and given best wishes for future.
