All India Radio, Chennai Organised a special invited audience programme in connection with HEVILAMBI UGADI-2017(Telugu New Year) on 20th March, 2017 in MTR Auditorium in the premises of All India Radio, Chennai. Adviser, Southern Region, All India Radio Shri R. Venkateswarlu Graced the Function as Chief Guest. Six items featured in the programme. Programme started with traditional Panchanga Sravanam. Children from Aarani performed for the prayer song "Maa Telugu Thalliki...", Poetry recitation by popular cine lyricist Vennelakanti, humorous short story by another popular writer Bhuvanachandra received good appreciation by the audience. Bharatha nayam, Duryodhana Mono action, humorous play are the items enthralled the audience, who came in good numbers to the function.
