Visit of H.E. Dr Negeri Lencho, Minister for communications, Ethiopia to AIR,Visakhapatnam on 22.03.2017

 

 

 

 

 

In furtherance of Directorate's instructions, H.E. Dr Negeri Lencho, Minister for Communications, Ethiopia has been invited to the studios of the AIR, Visakhapatnam for an interview on Indo-Ethopian cultural relations.He kindly accepted and graced the studios today ie. 22.03.2017 and spent nearly one hour and during the interview, he has recollected his fond memories with Visakhapatnam and appreciated the decency and decorum of Telugu people. More so, he expressed his intense gratitude for India which is instrumental in his personality moulding and laid foundations for his present stature. He deliberated various aspects covering socio, economic and political influence of Indians with the bottom line of cultural ethos in building Ethopian economy. He further expressed his delighted views on the academic services rendered by the Indians in Ethopia. He reiterated the need to strengthen the cultural exchange between the two nations in a subtle constructive and positive manner.

He ex-told the outcome of with his meeting our Hon'ble Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu and exhilarated the lofty, trendsetting and noble expressions of our HMIB which led the both nations to enter into the MOUs for various cultural fields.He pleased to offer his valuable impressions in the Visitors Register and he given warm send off.
