Literary Meet on Tirukkural at Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu

A Literary Meet on Tirukkural, composed by the great Sage Tiruvalluvar was held in Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu on 12/03/2017 (Sunday). In this function Shri.Tarun Vijay Former Member of Parliament was the chief guest who himself has installed statues of Tiruvalluvar in North India and taking efforts to propagate Tirukkural in schools and universities of the northern parts of India. In this function AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri was lauded for its efforts to propagate Tirukkural through programmes in various formats.AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri originates programmes from 6am to 12 noon and broadcasts couplets of Tirukkural at 7am daily and on all Fridays from 9am to 10 am Kuralum Kuralum a live Phone-in programme in which the commoners recite couplet with exposition and again on all Sundays at 11.30 am Kural Koorum Kurungkathai ( a short story based on Tirukkural) is being broadcast for the past 2 years apart from this on all Saturdays Kural Neri a programme is being relayed from AIR Chennai.
