DD I&B visits Radio Sharda

Deputy Director Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Inderjeet Garewal today visited Radio Sharda 90.4 FM, a community radio station in Jammu. He was accompanied by 50 delegates who attended a community radio awareness workshop here. He was received by founder Director of Radio, Ramesh Hangloo. Garewal interacted with Management Committee of Radio Sharda including Jagar Nath Sagar, P N Shad, A K Naz, Vijay Sagar, Sarita Raina, Manju Raina, Sujata Pahalwan, Rajni Bhat, Man Mohan Wazir, Vijay Koul, K K Koul etc.

The Committee gave a feed back to visiting Deputy Director regarding selection, preparation and broadcasting of programmes from Radio Sharda. Later addressing the Committee members Garewal expressed his satisfaction over the promotion and propagation of language culture among the displaced people and making programmes for the people living around the vicinity of community radio. In his address Hangloo apprised the visiting dignitary of the role played by Radio Sharda.
