A book based on ‘Bauddhavichara’ - a serial produced by All India Radio, Pune was published by Pali Deparment of Savitribai Phule Pune University,on 31 March 2016. The serial aimed at introducing Life and preaching of Lord Buddha, basic principles of Buddhism and also its history right from its origin in India to its spread all over the world. The serial was broadcast from All India Radio, Pune in 2009. It received overwhelming response from the audience. Eminent thinkers and Buddhist scholars like Dr. Shrikant Bahulkar Dr. Pradeep Gokhale and Dr. Mahesh Devkar had participated in it. In the publication ceremony, held at PUMBA auditorium of Pune University, Mrs. Neelima Patwardhan, Pex, the producer of the serial, was felicitated in the in the hands of senior thinker and Buddhist scholar DR. A. H. Salunkhe.
