आकाशवाणी मथुरा में 7दिसंबर को "मुक्तिबोध जन्म - शताब्दी समारोह"का आयोजन सम्पन्न हुआ ।इसमें परिसंवाद के अंतर्गत "मुक्तिबोध की कविता और हमारा समय"विषय पर प्रो जगदीश्वर चतुर्वेदी, डॉ सुधा सिंह ,डॉ धर्मराज, डॉ शालिनी माहेश्वरी, डॉ .ब्रजेन्द्र त्रिपाठी और प्रो. अशोक बंसल ने भाग लिया। इसके बाद उनकी कुछ चुनी हुई रचनाओं का सस्वर पाठ भी हुआ ।इस विशेष कार्यक्रम का संयोजन डॉ.अरविंद त्रिपाठी ,सहायक निदेशक आकाशवाणी मथुरा ने किया था और प्रस्तुति ओम प्रकाश सिंह कार्यक्रम अधिशासी की थी।इसे आकाशवाणी मथुरा से प्रसारित भी किया जायेगा।

The Dogri Regional News Unit of Radio Jammu celebrated 47th foundation day .

The Dogri Regional News Unit of Radio Station, Jammu has come of age and celebrated this week its 47th Foundation Day. The Dogri News section was set up on December 6, 1971 during the troubled time of Indo-Pak war. This RNU has gained immense popularity among the people, not only in the sensitive Jammu and Kashmir State but even across the borders in Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan. It is one of 47 RNUs of All India Radio network in various regional languages across the country.
It may be mentioned that presently three news bulletins in Dogri and two in Gojri are put out at optimal timings in the morning, afternoon and evening every day with maximum listenership.
The staff celebrated the Foundation Day of RNU and highlighted the proud modernization and success story of Dogri and Gojri news bulletins from News Room of J&K State’s first Radio Station at Jammu and recalled its importance and public service as well as contribution.
To start with, in 1971, the news bulletins, twice-a-day in Dogri language, were aimed to inform and educate the general masses about the true facts and clear the environment of rumours, infuse confidence and also counter poisonous propaganda from across our borders. The first bulletin in Dogri went on air on December 9, 1971 while the Gojri bulletin was introduced in 1980 and steadily growing in popularity among largest segment of our population with the passing time.
An eminent writer, Thakur Poonchi was the founding editor of Dogri News Unit, who worked single-handedly and put in his best efforts.It may be recalled that noted editors of Regional News Unit of Radio Station, Jammu include among others: D R Kiran, Kashmiri , Ajit Singh, A K Handoo, Mohd. Yussuf Ganai, M.K. Wangoo, Balwant Singh, Vijay Saqi, Sanjit Khajuria, Neha Jalali and R. K Raina . The News-caster connected with RNU, Jammu are : Lajya Manhas, Narendra Bhasin, Joginderpal Chhatarpal, , Dr. Veena Gupta, Vijay Sharma, Chanchal Narendra Bhasin, Bhanu, Sudershan Prashar, Parveen Kesar, Kuldeep Singh Jandriya, Nirmal Vinod, Jagmohan Sharma, Vijay Bajaj and others. Over the years, these bulletins created wide-spread awareness and are always appreciated by general public. The basic objective of these news-casts has been to give out all factual picture and win public trust. Then the work in the Dogri news section was manual with very limited staff members and few infrastructural facilities like computers and digital equipment. Now modern equipments are used for speed on spot reporting.
But it is noteworthy that the Dogri bulletins are listened with due attention and also discussed and debated.
It is worthwhile to mention that the news broadcasts by the RNU of Radio Station, Jammu has gained popularity and credibility among the common masses. The modernization of reporting has taken place with introduction of professionals and adoption of modern technology and equipments. There are on-the-spot reporting, interviews, sound-bites in the news bulletins, and instant reporting of events and functions. The case in point is the recent Panchayat elections reporting by the Radio Station, Jammu’s News Room (RNU).
It was Maharaja Hari Singh who inaugurated on December 1, 1947 the Radio Station, Jammu to enlist active public participation in development process and also to effectively counter the Pakistan’s virulent anti-India propaganda .It (RKJ) then operated from three classrooms of the Government Ranbir High School, Jammu with address at 6.30 pm by the then Maharaja Hari Singh.
A well-known Urdu writer Rajinder Singh Bedi was its officer-in charge from January 3, 1948.
This Radio Station has played a crucial role in the dissemination of news and views as also promotion and preservation of Dogri and other local languages as also our distinct cultural heritage.
In the recent years, there has been a great leap forward in the RNU with modernization and up-gradation of news gathering, editing in the News Room, high speed, transmission, with latest presentation and broadcasting techniques for effective impact. It is a fact that radio broadcasting is very effective and efficient medium of communication. It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly choosen the Radio medium for his choicest Mann Ke Baat programme which is nearing now 50th broadcast with widespread telling impact all over.
RNU of Radio Station, Jammu is playing a pivotal role in the presentation of objective, true, accurate and authentic news and views to the general public as a part of Prasar Bharati, a national public broadcasting service and upholding the standards of journalism. It is expected that the Regional Dogri News Unit of Jammu will grow steadily in status and strength winning the full confidence of the people in Jammu and Kashmir as also across the entire country.

मानव मूल्यों के संस्कार पर आकाशवाणी आगरा में कवि गोष्ठी सम्पन्न ।

छद्म आधुनिकता की अंधी दौड़ और पाश्चात्य संस्कृति की होड़ में हमारी सांस्कृतिक विरासत से जुड़े जीवन मूल्य और नैतिकता लगातार छीजते जा रहे हैं। जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में मानवीय मूल्यों का लगातार पतन हो रहा है। संस्कारों का अवमूल्यन होने के कारण हमारी भाषा, आचरण और व्यवहार बद से बदतर होते जा रहे हैं। 
यही विषय था 8दिसंबर को सम्पन्न आकाशवाणी आगरा में आयोजित काव्य गोष्ठी का, जिसमें प्रतिभाग किया आगरा के वरिष्ठ कवि डॉ. हरि निर्मोही, कोकिलकंठी डॉ. शशि तिवारी और अलीगढ़ के युवा गीतकार मुकेश कुमार उपाध्याय ने। गोष्ठी का सफल संचालन घिरोर (मैनपुरी) से पधारे यशस्वी कवि सतीश मधुप ने किया।
इस संस्कार गोष्ठी का आनन्द आकाशवाणी आगरा के श्रोतागण 16 दिसंबर रविवार शाम 4 बजे से उठा सकते हैं।इस विशेष कार्यक्रम में ध्वन्यांकन सहयोग अजय प्रकाश का था और इसके सम्पादक और प्रस्तुतकर्ता - नीरज जैन हैं।

आकाशवाणी मथुरा के साप्ताहिक लोकप्रिय "बाल गोपाल"कार्यक्रम के बाल कलाकार रहे और अब युवा हो चुके सिद्धार्थ नागर ने अपनी कलात्मक प्रतिभा के बल पर ऊंची छलांग लगाई है।उन्होंने अब एक फीचर फिल्म "धप्पा"की पटकथा का लेखन और निर्देशन किया है। उनकी जल्दी ही आने वाली फ़िल्म "धप्पा "का ट्रेलर पिछले दिनों रिलीज हो गया है।भारत में बच्चों के बीच कई खेल लोकप्रिय हैं जैसे,आइस पाइस, लुका छुपी और धाई धाई धप्पा। लिहाजा इसी नाम से एक फिल्म है जिसका नाम है ‘धप्पा’ । लेखन और निर्देशक में सक्रिय सिद्धार्थ अपने वक्त के बेहद लोकप्रिय लेखक अमृत लाल नागर के नाती और मशहूर लेखिका और प्रसार भारती परिवार से जुड़ी अचला नागर के बेटे हैं। बकौल सिद्धार्थ उनकी यह फिल्म उ.प्र. के उस यूथ की बात करती है जो शिक्षा को नजर अंदाज कर क्राइम की राह पकड़ लेते हैं यानि उनके हाथ में कलम की जगह बंदूक आ जाती है। इसके बाद उनका प्रशासन और पुलिस के साथ जो आईस पाईस या लुका छिपी का खेल शुरू होता है उसका अंत उस धप्पे के साथ होता है जो उनकी पीठ पर पुलिस द्धारा पड़ता है यानि आखिर में धप्पे के रूप में उनके हिस्से में गोली ही आती है। फिल्म में रीयलस्टिक किरदारों के लिये उन्होंने लखनऊ थियेटर से कलाकार लिये, इसके अलावा टीवी के कलाकार भी जैसे अयूब खान, श्रेष्ठ कुमार, दीपराज राणा, यश सिन्हा, अमित बहल, जया भट्टाचार्य, ब्रिजेन्द्र काला, अविनाश सहजवानी और वर्षा माणिकचंद ने तो फिल्म में डेब्यू किया ही है, फिल्म के मेजर किरदार लखनऊ और मथुरा थियेटर से हैं जैसे भानुमति सिंह, संदीपन नागर, पुनीता अवस्थी, आर. डी. सिंह आदि जो काफी फिल्में कर चुके हैं। 
प्रसार भारती परिवार अपने परिवार के इस होनहार कलाकार की इस फ़िल्म की सफलता के लिए अपनी शुभकामनाएं व्यक्त कर रहा है।

Golden jubilee celebration of All India Radio Dibrugarh.

All India Radio (AIR), Dibrugarh is nearing the completion of its annual golden jubilee celebrations that started on February 15, 2018. The celebrations will end next year on a date that coincides with the 51st founding day of the station.

Programme Coordinator Lohit Deka informed that any past or present employee of the radio station, both permanent and contractual, can extend their contributions to be included in the souvenir slated for publication to mark the occasion. The submissions will be entertained till December 31, 2018. The station had earlier planned to broadcast 3,000 new programmes to commemorate the completion of its 50 years. AIR, Dibrugarh has already started several new programmes. Of these, two special programmes, namely, Aakashbani aaru Moi and Sonali Suwaran have become quite popular among the listeners.

Shri.Devendraiah, formerly Helper, HPT, Mysuru passed away on 09.12.2018 afternoon. He had retired from Service on 31.10.2018. Staff of DMC / HPT, Mysuru extend their heartfelt condolences and pray god to give their family members energy to overcome the grief.

Prasar Bharati Parivar condoles the demise of Sri Shri.Devendraiah and prays to the almighty for the peace of the departed soul.

Water is one of the vital components of life. The rapid pace of irrigation growth, urbanization & industrialization has put enormous stress on water resources. Cumulative impact of increase in use of this precious natural resource has led to water scarcity in many regions of the country. Nevertheless, the climate change has also resulted in change in hydrologic cycle in the country. Hence, it is necessary that this scarce resource is protected by effective and efficient management on sound scientific methodology for its sustainable development.

The Ground Water Augmentation Awards and National Water Award were launched in the year 2007 with an objective to encourage all stakeholder including the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Gram Panchayats, Urban Local Bodies, Water User Associations, Institutions, Corporate Sector, Individuals etc. for adopting innovative practices of ground water augmentation by rainwater harvesting and artificial recharge, promoting water use efficiency, recycling & re-use of water and creating awareness through people's participation in the targeted areas resulting into the sustainability of ground water resources development, adequate capacity building amongst the stakeholders etc.

Considering the fact that surface water & Ground water are integral part of the water cycle, it is felt necessary to institute unified National Water Awards with the objectives of encouraging the stakeholders to adopt holistic approach towards water resources management in the country.

On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, National Film Development Corporation, a unit of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has initiated to organise a Short Film Competition through www.MyGov.in. A Short Film competition invites young amateur filmmakers (School/College Students) to make Short Films (maximum 3 minute) based on “Be the change which you want to see in the world” to showcase the relevance of the messages even today in the 21st century.

The objective of the competition is to make the youth aware of the simplicity and high ideals of Mahatma Gandhi’s life which eventually became his message to the world.

About the Competition:
1. The Short Film is open only for Indian Citizens who are amateur film-makers/ students from High
schools/Colleges /University (both Public & Private)
2. Submission of the Short Film will start from 2nd October 2018.
3. The duration of the Short Film should be maximum 3 minutes.
4. The Short Film can be made in any of the 22 Official Indian Languages with transcript (in verbatim)
in Hindi /English.
5. The winning entries will be announced on a later date on www.MyGov.in.
6. The Experts on Gandhian Philosophy and Film Making would form the Panel of Jury and evaluate the
competitor’s.

Prizes:
1. The Top 10 successful entries will be awarded by/with Cash Prizes.
2. Certificate and Internship with any regional office of NFDC for 2 weeks with consultation and consent
of the winners.

आकाशवाणी इलाहाबाद के कार्यक्रम पुरोधा राजा जुत्शी की तीसरी पुण्यतिथि पर उनके चाहने वालों ने उन्हें शिद्दत से याद किया । ज्ञातव्य है कि 9 दिसम्बर 2015 को लगभग 80वर्ष की उम्र में उनका निधन हो गया था ।

Assembly Elections: NSD-AIR made special arrangement on the day of counting

The News Services Division of All India Radio has made changes to its bulletins as part of its special coverage of counting of votes. The 12 noon bulletin will be of 10 minutes instead of five. It will be broadcast from 12 to 12:10 PM. The Hindi bulletin will be aired from 12:10 to 12:20 PM.The duration of Midday bulletin in English and Dopahar Samachar in Hindi has also been extended by 15 minutes. Midday News will be broadcast from 2 to 2:30 PM, while Dopahar Samachar will be aired from 2:30 to 3 PM. The 6 PM bulletin in English and 6:05 PM bulletin in Hindi will be extended by 5 minutes. These will now be broadcast from 6 to 6:10 PM in English and 6:10 to 6:20 PM in Hindi.

Apart from this, AIR News has also planned special programmes for the latest on election results from 8:30 am to 2 pm. A Radio Bridge programme will also be broadcast on the day of counting from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM by linking Aizawl, Raipur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Hyderabad stations.

Inspiration - India’s First Param Vir Chakra Receiver – Major Somnath Sharma, who Started the Legacy of the Indian Army.

            Major Somnath Sharma – India’s First Param Vir Chakra Receiver
Born on 31st January of 1923, Major Sharma was a resident of the Punjab Province of  British India. He got his army blood from his father, Amar Nath Sharma.

Not only his father but his uncle also died while defending a bridge against Japanese invasion and this inspired Somnath to be an army man one day. After finishing his schooling, he was selected, and he joined the IMA, Dehradun in 1941 for the post of Second Lieutenant in 8/19 Hyderabad Regiment. When he was only 21 years old, he was present while actions in Burma and he was appointed as D.A. and Q.M.G at his Brigade headquarters. Being one of the efficient men, he was posted to the communal conflict area of Punjab top keep law and order. In 1942, he was commissioned in the Kumaon Region.
Major Somnath Sharma led and fought in many battles; he even fought in World War II in Burma with British Army. The Battle of Badgam was the case that brought him the glory. Although he was technically unfit to be active in a war, he insisted on taking the lead on his assignment at Srinagar Airport on 1st November. However, on 3rd November, Sharma’s D company got heavily outnumbered by Pakistani raiders during patrol duties suddenly. Sharma knew the importance of holding on even though they were outnumbered or otherwise both the city of Srinagar and the airport would be lost. He was injured, yet he fought bravely and exposed himself to the enemy fire. Under such odd circumstance, they fought courageously under Sharma’s order till Indian reinforcements came. He even operated a light machine gun and held the enemy till his last blood. Along with Sharma, 21 other ranks of D company were killed in that battle.

Major Somnath Sharma’s body was found three days later. It was heavily disfigured, and no one could recognise his face. However, his body was identified by means of a page of Bhagavad Gita in his chest pocket. His last transmitted message was –
“The enemies are only 50 yards from us. We are heavily outnumbered. We are under devastating fire. I shall not withdraw an inch but will fight to our last man and our last round.”

Late on 21st June 1950, Major Somnath Sharma was awarded Param Vir Chakra because of his outstanding courage and bravery. He became the first Indian to receive a Param Vir Chakra.

AIR, Ajmer is celebrated its 64th foundation day on 11-12-2018

HPT, All India Radio, Ajmer is celebrating its 64th foundation day with full enthusiasm and emotions. Head of the Office Shri K. K. Mathur, DDG (E) greeted the staff.

A Brief About AIR Ajmer

1. This station was initially started with 20 KW, MW NEC transmitter on 11-12-1955.

2. It was upgraded to 2x100 KW, MW, BEL, HMB-140, on 31-3-1987.

3. Now, on 18-10-2015, HMB-140 was replaced by 200KW, MW, DRM, Nautel Txr.

4. It relays progs of AIR, Jaipur so that is known as “AIR Jaipur-Ajmer”.

5. The transmitter covers fully or partially about 18 districts of Rajasthan which is about 1,60,000 sq.km. area and more than 260 lakhs population of Rajasthan.

6. Under 11th Plan 5 KW FM Transmitter was commissioned this year at HPTV Site.

7. This station bagged ‘Best Maintained Station Award’ in 1999 and 2009 and now again for the year 2014.

A Brief About Ajmer city

1. Ajmer is situated in the base of Aravali mountain ranges. It was founded by the Chauhan King Ajay Pal in the 7th Century A.D. as Ajaimeru ('Invincible Hill'). It was the glorious domicile of the famous King Prithviraj Chauhan.

2. Now, it is famous for the “Holy Pushkar”, “Dargah Sharif” and “Nashiya”.

3. Some other places of interest are - City museum, Aana-sagar Lake, Adhai-din-ka-Jhopra, Sai temple, Rangji temple, etc.

4. It is well connected by train and road with all parts of country, nearest airport is Jaipur(140km) and Kishangarh(25km but regular flights yet to be commenced).

भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि : Remembering Shri G. Subba Rao, AE, AIR Hyderabad on his 4th death anniversary.

Shri G Subba Rao, A.E, All India Radio, Saifabad, Hyderabad, had expired in the Basavatarakam Indo American Hospital on 12.12.2014, four years back, due to illness. He was a very positive, dedicated and hardworking person and is remembered vividly by his colleagues and friends.

PB Parivar volunteers talked to his wife, Smt. Akhilandeshwari who is presently working as DDE at AIR Gulbarga and shared our Rememberance and feelings to the whole family. She appreciated the concern showed by PB parivar.  Their elder son is happily married and working at US and younger son is working at Hyderabad as Physical Trainer.

At PB parivar, we feel that our family bonding shall remain alive even after unfortunate demise of our colleagues and we shall try to stand with the families of our such friends and shall try to provide help and strength to them. We call upon all PB parivar members and volunteers to keep working in this direction and make us a true Family...

... Deep condolence on the sad demise of our Retired Duty officer Smt Shashi Vidyarathi who passed away last night at the age of 80 . People of our generation should learn something from the life of Late Smt Shashi Vidyarathi , she was a brave , hard working and fighter lady , at the age of 80 she worked till her last breath and gave her services in duty room till November 2018. She never made excuses of her old age and ill health and always did all odd hours duties like early morning , late night and evening - overnight that too continuously for 29 days in a month without break . She was learned lady in the field of literature and music . She had command over Hindi , Urdu and English . When she was in regular service ,at that time she was famous for her productions in Yuvvani section. She was connected to the families like Freedom fighter Ganesh Shankar Vidyarathi and great literateur of India Munshi Prem Chand . With all my respect ,may her soul rest in peace.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM


Subject:- Procedure for booking of air-tickets on LTC – compliance of instructions regarding.


The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. No. 31011/5/2014-Estt.A-IV dated 24.09.2014, 23.09.2015 and 21.08.2017 on the procedure for booking of air tickets on LTC and to say that as per the extant instructions, whenever a Government servant claims LTC by air, he/she is required to book the air tickets directly from the airlines (Booking counters, website of airlines) or by utilizing the services of the authorized travel agents viz. ‘M/s Balmer Lawrie & Company’, ‘M/s Ashok Travels & Tours’ and ‘IRCTC’ (to the extent IRCTC is authorized as per DoPT O.M. No. 31011/6/2002-Est(A) dated 02.12.2009) while undertaking LTC journey(s).


2. In this regard, it is observed that despite reiterating the above instructions from time to time, this Department still continues to receive numerous references from various Ministries/Departments and individuals seeking relaxation for booking of air tickets for the purpose of LTC through private travel agents. In most of the cases, the common reasons cited by the Government employees are lack of awareness of the rules and work exigencies


3. Therefore, all the Ministries/Departments are advised to ensure wide circulation and strict compliance of the guidelines stated in para 1 of this OM. This point may also be emphasized by the Administration whenever any advance is sought or intention to avail LTC is conveyed by the Government servant. It is stated that henceforth only those cases, where it is established that bonafide mistake has occurred and the Administrative Ministry/Department is satisfied that undue hardship is being caused to the Government servant, shall be considered by this Department for relaxation provided that the information is received in the Proforma enclosed along with supporting documents.

 आकाशवाणी केंद्र नजीबाबाद के कलाकारों ने मंगलवार को शाम 4.20 बजे क्षेत्र के ग्राम कल्याणपुर में बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ योजना के तत्वाधान के तहत बिटिया हमारी कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण किया गया। आलोक त्यागी के संचालन में हुए ग्रामीण चौपाल कार्यक्रम में कन्या भ्रूण हत्या, बेटियों की शिक्षा, बेटियों की सुरक्षा ,और दहेज प्रथा आदि ¨बदुओं पर ग्रामीणों से वार्ता की गई। कार्यक्रम में रामौतार त्यागी ने कहा कि बेटियों की शिक्षा से पहले बेटों को संस्कारिक बनाना चाहिए। यदि बेटे संस्कारवान होंगे, तो बेटी समाज में सुरक्षित रहेगी। पल्लवी आर्य ने कहा कि वह बहनें है, लेकिन उन्हें उनके माता-पिता ने बेटों की तरह उच्च स्तर की शिक्षा दिलाई। गरिमा त्यागी एवं अक्षय त्यागी ने भी नारी सशक्तीकरण पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि बालिका शिक्षा बेहद जरूरी है। भाजपा राजीव अग्रवाल ने कहा कि बेटी को शिक्षित होगी, जो अच्छा समाज बनेगा।

कार्यक्रम में एसडीएम डा. पंकज कुमार वर्मा ने कहा कि सरकार ने बेटियों की रक्षा के लिए नारी रक्षा दल बनाए है। सरकार द्वारा बेटियों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाने के लिए शिक्षा संस्थान खुलवा रखे है, लेकिन बालिका शिक्षा के लिए अभिभावकों को आगे आना होगा। इस दौरान ग्रामीण चौपाल कार्यक्रम में कन्या भ्रूण हत्या, बेटियों की शिक्षा, बेटियों की सुरक्षा ,और दहेज प्रथा आदि ¨बदुओं पर ग्रामीणों से वार्ता भी की गई। कार्यक्रम में आकाशवाणी केंद्र नजीबाबाद की निदेशक मंदीप कौर, सुरेंद्र ¨सह, सुरेंद्र ¨सह नौटियाल, सत्यकुमार त्यागी, महेंद्र ¨सह अश्क, ,मनोज त्यागी, रावेंद्र, हरिराज ¨सह, प्रमोद ¨सह, अमन कुमार, अभय देव त्यागी, फ्राहिम प्रधान मौजूद थे।
