Sri. Shankar S. Bhat, Sr. Announcer passed away today ie 13.10.2020 morning due to long illness. Shankar Bhat joined All India Radio Mangalore 22.03.1975 and retired on 31.07.2006. He served in AIR Mangalore and AIR Madikeri.
His unique voice is famous in undivided South canara District. He participated in number of Tulu Drama, Kannada Drama during his stay at All India Radio Mangalore.
Prasar Bharati Parivar and Staff of All India Radio Mangalore deeply condoles the sad demise of Sri. Shankar Bhat and pray to the almighty for the peace of the departed soul and strength to his family members for bearing this irreparable loss.
