Shri G.R. Meshram, former ADG(P) ( then termed as zonal DDG), AIR expired at Pune today morning. He was 88. He is survived by his wife and daughter who is lecturer at a prestegious college in Pune. Shri Meshram had joined at AIR, Guwahati in the year 1958 and has vivid memories of his first posting in North East. Shri Meshram served at many AIR Stations like Nagpur, Indore, Pune, Aurangabad, Kohima, Parbhani, Coimbatore and had an illustrious career with AIR. After retirement, he settled down at Pune and though having severe knee joint problems was hail and hearty.
