Station Director Radio Kashmir Jammu Mr.Vijay Kumar Sambyal was given a warm send off by the Staff of Radio Kashmir Jammu after completing his superannuation . Technically he will be retiring on 31st July but due to weekend he was given a farewell today. His farewell party was joined by Additional Secretary J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages Dr.Arvinder Aman, Former Station Director radio Kashmir Srinagar Mr.Zia. Programme Executive Radio Kashmir Srinagar Came from Srinagar in the farewell.
Lead by Deputy Director General (Engineering) Shri.K.K.Singh, staff from all the wings participated overwhelmingly in his send off party. Mr.Singh showered praises on the dynamism of Mr. Sambyal. The staff in their farewell speeches praised the different aspects of Mr. Sambyal's personality who, apart from being and excellent administrator, is an accomplished classical singer of India. Mr.V.K.Sambyal in a most humble speech thanked everyone present and those who could not attend the party due to any reason and expressed his gratitude to the support and love rendered by every individual to him. A photo book on the two years journey of Mr. Sambyal also popularly known as Rangeelay Thakur , clicked, composed and compiled by Programme Executive Nitish Arora was presented to him for his sweet remembrances of his tenure at Radio Kashmir Jammu.
