Shri K.T. Solanki, UDC, DDK, Ahmedabad was one of the pillars of Doordarshan Kendra, Ahmedabad.
Shri Solanki joined DDK Ahmedabad as LDC on 13th May 1989. A good sense of Humour, Immense Positivity, Dedication to work, Honesty, Loyalty to the organization, always willing to teach his juniors, was fearless to take a stand and speak up, are some of the qualities that will always be remembered about him. He will also be remembered as an excellent hand in Accounts, Admin and Commercial related work.
He was also rendering his services as Treasurer of “Doordarshan Kendra Employees Co-Operative Society, Ahmedabad since last five years. Kendra shall always remember him for his contribution.
He is survived by his wife and 3 daughters (married). He was due for retirement in September 2020. It was the time for him to enjoy life post retirement when he bid us goodbye and left for his heavenly abode.
Nobody can ever replace his presence. We pray that he finds eternal peace in heaven and may God help his family to overcome this loss.
