´स्वर्णिम सपना`, `हर रात निलो आकाशमा`, ´गास्दैनौ प्रणय बन्धन`…आदि जस्ता काल जय गीतहरुका गायक , चर्चित रेडियो संचार कर्मी, आकाशवाणि खरसाङमा पाश्चात्य संगीतका कार्यक्रम संचालक देखि आरम्भ गरेर कार्यक्रम अधिकारीका विभिन्न तहहरुमा सेवा पुरयाउनु हुने, दुुरदर्शन केन्द्रका केन्द्र निर्देशक तह सम्म सेवा दिनुभएका एकजना अति जोशिलो -रसिलो ब्यक्तित्व स.रबिदास अबरहनु भएन।आकाशवाणि खरसाङले एउटा अनुकरणीय अग्रज गुमाएको छ ,सगीत जगतले एउटा धरोहर कलाकार गुमाएको छ, परिवार र समाजले एउटा अपुरणिय क्षति भोग्न परिरहेछ। वहाको आत्माले चिर शान्ति पावोस्, परिवारले यो क्षति बोक्न सक्ने शक्ति पाउन। हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली आकाशवाणि परिवारको तर्फबाट।

We have lost a great Broadcaster,Officer & brilliant talented Artist who has contributed a lots towards upliftment & wellfare of Nepali Art & culture & literature throughout his tremandous dedication & devotion during his livelihood.

I had an opportunity to meet him closely at at A. I.R. Kurseong towards materialising many Programmes during my service tenure as Head Of Office/Programme Head. Before that I met Ravi Das Ji at Doordarshan Guwahati in capacity of Asstt.Station Director while I was invited to perform vocal recital there.

He is exceptionally very polite, straightforward, Helpful, prompt, HUMBLE & positive minded officer with strong willpower & leadership quality throughout his career.

Let The great *WAHEGURUJI* BLESS HIM TO GET "ETERNAL PEACE TO THE DEPARTED SOUL.

Prasar Bharati Parivar deeply condoles the demise of Shri Ravi Das and prays to almighty to give courage to his family and friends to bear this irreparable loss.
