Shri S.D. Uprety, PEX, AIR Bareilly had expired on 23rd April 2015, five years back. He was a talented folk artist. He had joined AIR as a PEX on 30th August 1991 and served at different stations like Lucknow, Almora, Paudi and finally Bareilly. He is survived by his wife and one daughter.
Prasar Bharati Parivar volunteer had talked to his wife Smt. Jyoti Upreti and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. Mrs. Jyoti was happy when our volunteer talked to her and for remembering Mr. Uprety and his family. Their only daughter Bhumika Uperty afterr pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication is presently working in Nucleas Company at Noida(Delhi). Mrs Uprety is a housewife maintaining good health and staying alone at Haldwani (Nainital dist.) as her only daughter is at Noida.
