We all know that due to COVID-19 there is a complete National Level lockdown except some of the essential services.
Being a part of the important essential service, Doordarshan High Power Transmitter, Kumbakonam, TVRC, Pattukkottai, LPT, Pudukkottai, Engineering staff are working tirelessly for smooth running of transmissions.
On request to the President, Panchayat, Kumbakonam to take precaution activities against this corona virus to the HPT, Kumbakonam, the staff from panchayat union is regularly come to our office and spray the sanitizer all around the HPT premises. From office side Dettol soap, face mask are issued to all staff and sanitizers are given to all centres. The new wash basin was provided at the entrance of the premises for the staff to wash their hands before entry of the office.
During this period of crisis, just like doctors, police staff and cleanliness crew our staff from different stations are also rendering sincere efforts so that the AIR must go on..
