JIPMER to launch radio programme

Jawaharlal institute of postgraduate medical education and research (Jipmer) and All India Radio (AIR) have joined hands to air health awareness talks in Tamil twice a week for the next one year, said a statement from the institute.Experts in various disciplines from Jipmer will speak on a series of health issues on every Thursday (6.45am to 7.45am) and Friday (8.30am to 8.45am) in the prime channel of AIR FM Rainbow 102.8MHz.The talk in Tamil will be a pre-recorded one. It will be officially launched on July 7, said the statement .
