Cameraman A T Velumani Iyar passed away on 05.07.2016.( Tuesday ) morning at Chennai due to cardiac arrest. Source colleague cameraman Partha Mishra said he was ill since 7days & admitted in kalinga hospital Bhubaneswar. 3 days before he was referred to Chennai hospital for better treatment. He was around 55years age. He served DD national 33years.
Prasar Bharati Parivar deeply condoles the untimely demise of AT Velumani Iyer and prays for the peace of departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
