Sri. H. Srinivasa, ADP and Programme Head of AIR, Mysuru retired on 31st March2019. Born in Hassan, Sri. Srinivasa completed his Education B.Sc., B.P.Ed and Diploma in Dramatics, at Mysuru. He joined his service in Bharath Sanchara Nigam Limited, Mysuru in the year 1984 and worked there till 1991.
On 24.05.1991, he got selected as Programme Executive (Drama) through UPSC and joined All India Radio Bhadravathi and worked for 6 years. There after he worked in All India Radio Gulbarga for for 6 ½ years, All India Radio, Hospet for 5 years, All India Radio, Hassan for 5 years and All India Radio, Madikeri for 2 years as Programme Executive. Since 11.08.2016 to 31.03.2019, he worked as the Assistant Director (Programme) at All India Radio, Mysuru.
Basically he is a Stage Artist of Mysore and involved with the activities of many Drama theatres. Undertaken Himmalyan Treckcking and worked as Camp Officer in Kargil.
To celebrate his glorious services to Akashvani, a Musical Tribute was organized in the music studio of AIR, Mysuru, where Staff Artists enthralled the audience by their performance and gave a fitting tribute to the exemplary services rendered by Sri. H. Srinivasa – ADP.
Sri. Mysore M. Nagaraj performed Violin recital accompanied by Sri. B. Ravishankar – on Mridanga, both Top Grade Artists. Smt. Mysore S. Rajalakshmi, performed Veena Recital accompanied by Sri. H.L. Shivashankara swamy on Mridanga, both A Grade Artists.
This was followed by a Lunch organized by the Recreation Club in the honour of Sri. H.Srinivasa and a Farewell Party was given to him. Almost all the members paid huge tribute to his services. The farewell party concluded with the Thanks by Sri. Sunil Bhatia, Director Engineering and Head of Office.
The staff of All India Radio, Mysuru wishes him a “Very Happy Retirement Life”.
Prasar Bharati Parivar wishes him a very happy, healthy, peaceful and contended retired life.
