All India urdu peace mushaira was organised by AALMI URDU MAJLIS NEW DELHI on Sunday Evening and was dedicated to PM of Newzealand who lit the candle of peace and brotherhood among diverse social fibre of the country and stood firm for it.2 minute silence and Fateha was also offered to the martyrs of Al-Noor Mosque Christchurch Newzealand.
Dr.Rafeeq Masoodi Former ADG Doordarshan, former Secretary cultural Academy J&K & Patron Rafiabad Addabi Markaz lit the candle on the occasion to inaugurate the Mushaira who was the chief guest on the occasion while educationists philanthropist and socio-litererary activist of Delhi HSFIZ UL KALIM presided over the event.Dr.Masoodi in his speech lauded the efforts of Dr.Hanif Tareen founder president of AUM(Aalmi urdu majlis) for organising such a colourful event which was dedicated to PEACE .Dr.Masoodi further said that HOLI, NAVROZ & BITH OF IMAM ALI(KTW),son in law of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)l coincided with this event which should be good omen for us all and country.
Kalim Hafiz in his presidential address highlighted the GANGA-JAMNI CULTURE of India which in no will be allowed to derail at any cost.He said we have same culture ,festivals and social fibre and enjoy brotherhood but some forces are trying to create wedge which will not succeed. Mushaira was attended by poets across the country and continues past midnight.Bashir Chiragh publicity secretary of AUM New Delhi thanked all participants and dignitaries and proposed vote of thanks too.
