Shri Bijoy D. Modi, UDC, All India Radio, Rajkot had left us on this date i.e. 15th March 2016, three years back. He was born on 20.11.1975 and had joined AIR Rajkot in 1994. He was the only son of late Sh Dhansukh Modi, who was PEX at AIR Rajkot and had got compassionate appointment after the demise of his father.
Bijoy was very good singer and Approved light Music artist of AIR. In-spite of being ministerial staff, he was assigned the duties of Library and Information Assistant since long. He did remarkable job in digitizing and converting the tapes on CD/ hard drive.
Prasar Bharati Parivar volunteers had talked to Dimple Seth, Lt. Bijoy's married sister and conveyed our rememberance, who thanked PB volunteer for remembering Lt. Bijoy on this day. She is working as Casual at AIR Rajkot, presenting Childrens Programme. Bijoy's wife got remarried and now leading a happy life. Their son is now 12 years old studying in 6th Standard. His mother is also in good healthy condition.
