Miller Einster Sawkmie, PEX, NES, AIR Shillong had expired on 14-02-2017, two years back.

Miller had joined AIR Shillong as a production assistant (TREX) at OB unit, AIR Shillong on 7 April 1992. He was the force behind the popular radio bridge programme connecting the entire North East. As well as the several concerts organised by NES. As recently as February 11, he had successfully organized the grand finale of the NE Body Can Sing Contest in Shillong.
He was always an inspiration to may friends, colleagues, talkers who always used to comment "he encouraged me to go on air”…. “One of my most well behaved and cheerful colleagues…. Will sorely miss his jokes and laughter”… “He was such an inspiration to me, to never give up in my singing" and so on.....

Prasar Bharati volunteers had talked to Mrs. Rulbiona Synrem (wife of Lt. Miller) and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. They are presently staying at Shillong itself. She felt very comfort while talking to our member. Their 3 children are pursuing their studies in B.SC, BA and 12th Standard. His mother is now 70+ with good health condition.

Any Parivar members who wishes to talk or to contact his family members can contact his wife Rulbiona on Mobile No. 07085250642 and convey their rememberance to the family members and give them strength.

At PB parivar, we feel that our family bonding shall remain alive even after unfortunate demise of our colleagues and we shall try to stand with the families of our such friends and shall try to provide help and strength to them. We call upon all PB parivar members and volunteers to keep working in this direction and make us a true Family...
