Kum. Shahnaz Akthari, Senior Announcer is retiring from service on superannuation on 31.7.2018.Kum. Shahnaz Akthari joined AIR, Rewa (MP) as Announcer on 01st July 1978 in the year Sept. 1987 she was transferred to AIR, Jabalpur and in the year Oct.1992 joined VBS, Mumbai and has been working in VBS since then. She has served the department for almost 41 years being associated with many popular programmes like Dramas, Classical music and Gazals broadcast from the AIR network. She has done transmission and programme scheduling duties. She has achieved remarkable success in using the newly introduced NETIA software for broadcast of programmes in VBS.Prasar Bharati Parivar wishes him a very happy, healthy, peaceful and contended retired life.
