· The Primary Channel of AIR, Siliguri broadcasts on wavelength-421.9 metres i.e. on frequency 711 KHz. On 26-10-16 the new 200 KW DRM Transmitter was commissioned and now the total coverage area is about 22,000 Sq. Km. Radial areas. It covers Coochbehar, Alipurduar, Darjeeling , Jalpaiguri, North Dinajpur , South Dinajpur & Malda Districts of West Bengal, as well as some SAARC countries like Bangaladesh , Nepal , Bhutan and a part of our neighbouring state Bihar .
· Vividh Bharati FM Transmitter broadcasts on Frequency-101.4 MHz and covers mainly the suburban areas of Siliguri and Jalpaiguri.

· In Programme activities a new Live Phone-in-programme on Public Grievances was introduced in the year 2017 and the same has received overwhelming public reaction.
