Initially, Shri C Malayappan was appointed as Engineering Assistant on 12.02.1986 at All India Radio, Tiruchy. He was transferred in the same capacity in the year 1990 to LPT, Rameshwaram and subsequently he was promoted as Senior Engineering Asst. on 11.01.1991 at LPT, Rameshwaram itself. Before he was transferred to AIR, Chennai he has served at AIR, Puducherry too. After serving this Department for over 32 years, he has retired on 31.05.2018. A very sincere, dedicated and hard working personnel.
It is noteworthy to mention that apart from discharging his official duties sincerely, wherever he has served, his focus was mainly on welfare of his colleagues (like providing retiring room /water facilities /dining room etc.) and he achieved them all with the persistent efforts with the Head of Office in a humble way. Further, he has shown his leadership quality by organising functions/events with regard to staff.
All the Staff of AIR, Chennai and Prasar Bhararti Parivar wish Shri C Malayappan a very peaceful and healthy retired life.
