Lala Araghami Adabi Foundation observes the 95th birth anversary of Sofi Poet Lala Araghami at his birth place Aragham in Bandipora District in North Kashmir on 11 march 2018. An impressive litrary meet was held in which hundreds of litrary personalities joined the occasion. First session of paper reading was presided over by Former ADG Doordarshan Dr.Rafiq Masoodi. Later Dr. Rafiq Masoodi was confered this year's LALAARGAMI AWARD for his meritorious services in the field of Art Culture and Languages .He was presented a Shawl ans memento by the Foundation. The iccasion was attended by various renowned poets among them were Shahnaz Rashid, Ismaeil Ashna, Mubashir Nazki, Sahukat sufi,Mir Tariq, Elyas azad ,Shahbaz hakbari,Shabnum Gulzar ,Sarwar bulbu ,elder son of LalaArgami HabbalalaArgami ans many others. Later a grand Mushaira also was held in which more then 24 poets presented their poetic expressions.
