I started my journey with Prasar Bharati (AIR Siliguri) on July 13, 2015. Though I had been working for corporate IT sector for about 4 years in Chennai, after getting the appointment letter, without delaying further, I decided to join Prasar Bharati as I knew that in this organization, I would be able to explore my technical skills (as I pursued B. Tech in ECE) as well as get to know more about Indian traditional Music (as I am fan of Indian classical Music which is one of my hobbies).
Working in AIR Siliguri as an EA, has enhanced my knowledge and skills in public broadcasting. I am happy to work with my colleagues here. I have learnt many things related to DRM and FM transmission. Also, actively participated in testing softwares (alternatives for hardware consoles) developed by one of my senior colleagues. I have observed here that if an employee genuinely wants to learn, there are ample amount of opportunities to be grabbed. Moreover, I can enjoy the work life balance in this department which is crucial for person's overall growth.
In future, I would love to work in R&D, in acoustics, studio and sound related work and also in IT division.
