69th Republic day was celebrated in AIR Pune with the traditional gaiety. Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar [DDG(E)& Head of Office] was given Guard of Honour by security guards. Then Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar unfurled the National Flag in the premises of AIR Pune. Shri. Gopal Autee [Deputy Director (P)] was also present on this occasion. Large number of staff from all the wings & retired employees were present on this occasion. After hoisting the Tricolour a humorous street play of theme - How to avoid use of plastic and keep our surrounding clean. It was highly appreciated by the gathering.
Apart from Retired employees, this year Akashvani Pune Parivar invited the family members of employees, who had expired while working at Akashvani Pune. Mrs Joshi, wife of late Shri NL Joshi who worked as SEA told that she felt too happy while she received such an invitation, which she had never ever imagined. Son of Shri Shanakar late Technician, Akashvani Pune, who is a grown up businessman now recalled, how he used to visit Akashvani as a child, where his father worked, and even when he has expired, How good he feels being a member of Akashvani Pune Parivar. Shri Shashi Patwardhan, former PEX was so moved by the socially oriented activities that he donated Rs.1000 to club. Shri Ravindra Ranjekar President of the club assured that such positive activities will be continued and further enhanced.
In HPT Hadapsar also 69th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. Shri. . Hemant Paradkar (Asst. Engineer) unfurled the Tricolor. All staff residing in HPT Hadapsar staff quarters attended the function. Sweets and light refreshment were served on this occasion.
