AIR, Panaji (Goa) celebrated its 56th anniversary 9.1.2018. Shri.D.K.Sudame, Deputy Director (E) & Head of Station of AIR, Panaji inaugurated the function with his key note address. Shri. Athos Fernandes retired Deputy Director; AIR was the chief guest of the function. He remembered his memorial experiences in AIR Panaji and talked about modern technological changes in broadcasting system of AIR.
On this occasion Shri.Santosh D.Padgaonkar, Programme Executive and Head of Programme talked about the importance of the day of anniversary of AIR Panaji. Shri.V.G.Khedekar, AE also gave his technical working experience in brief to the audience.
There was informative audio visual documentary presentation on history of AIR Panaji presented by Shri.Dinkar Yadav, Investigator, ARU, AIR Panaji followed by film songs singing entertainment programme presented by staff members. There was also classical based performance, Sitar Recital by staff artist, Pt. Yogiraj Naik, Vocal Light Music by staff artist. Smt.Usha Naik, Sr. announcer compared the progarmme whereas Savio Noronha,PEX gave vote of thanks followed by delicious refreshment…AIR, Panaji will also celebrate 24th years of FM Rainbow on the eve of 23.01.2018.
