Shri. Renjan Babu, Private Secretary to Deputy Director General (E), Doordarshan Kendra, Thiruvananthapuram is attaining superannuation in the month of December, 2017 after putting in around 35 years of meritorious service.
He started his career as Stenographer Gr.III when he joined All India Radio, Aizwal on 04.08.1982. After serving for couple of years at AIR, Aizwal he joined AIR, Bhadravati in January, 1985. From Bhadravati, he was posted to CCW (C), AIR&DD, Thiruvananthapuram from July, 1989 and it continued upto October, 1993. He was promoted as Stenographer Gr.II and joined News Service Division, AIR, New Delhi in October, 1993 and served there till February, 2006. Later on he joined Prasar Bharati, Marketing Division, Thiruvananthapuram in February, 2006. During his tenure in DD News, Khelgaon, New Delhi from July, 2008 onwards, he was promoted as Stenographer Gr.I. Thereafter, he once again joined NSD in January, 2009 and served upto April, 2012. Finally he joined Doordarshan Kendra, Thiruvananthapuram in April, 2012. At the fag end of his successful career he was promoted as Private Secretary and posted at DDK, Thiruvananthapuram itself.
His simplicity and straight forward personality is his hallmark. His hard working nature, dedication and uprightness have been an asset to the institutions he has worked with.
