AIR NAGERCOIL(Southern part of TAMILNADU near Kanyakumari) is worst affected by cyclone (Oghi) disaster on 29th & 30th Nov 17.The rains accompanied by gusty winds left a trail of destruction in Kanyakumari district, in the southern most tip of the country, uprooting more than 500 trees. Nearly 3,000 electric poles have been uprooted affecting power supply. Till date electricity and water supply not restored. However strenuous efforts are being taken by the office, all caution announcements and live coverages were also broadcast inspite of the worst situation.
