Rajib kar choudhury, working in the Audience Research Unit of DDK, Kolkata has been awarded prestigious Senior Fellowship (2015-16)by the expert committee constituted by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India . His field of research work will be 'Evolution of Bengali Raagprodhan songs and its present form'.
Rajib is also a renowned A-graded vocal music artiste of AIR & DD and son of Pt.Amalendu Bikash Kar Choudhury- an exponent of Bengali Raagprodhan song and Retd.Station Director of All India Radio, Kolkata.
