Smt. Sangeeta Upadhye, ADE got Akashvani Annual Award (2nd Prize) for the best technical article for the year 2016. The awards were declared on Friday evening.
Akashvani Pune Parivar celebrated the declaration of this award to Smt. Sangeeta Upadhye in a grand way on Monday Forenoon i.e. 06-11-2017 in its conference room wherein the staff members from various disciplines gathered and watched a small video clip on Sangeeta ji produced by Shri Prasad Karadkar and Shri Ramesh Latpate, EAs. Smt. Upadhye was presented a bouquet by Shri Ashish Bhatnagar, DDG(E) on behalf of Akashvani Pune Parivar. In her short speech, Smt. Upadhye thanked all Akashvani Pune members for this rare gesture which was a sweet surprise for her. She recalled that this technical paper which was published in BES Review could be written only because of constant encouragement and persuation by Shri Ashish Bhatnagar, DDG(E).
This is the 2nd award for Smt. Upadhye who was earlier declared Best Woman Engineer of WZ in 2013. Smt. Upadhye is also the administrator of PB parivar blog which is a voluntary work. The brief celebration ended with distribution of sweets to all staff members.
